12” of ‘A Forest’ you say ? Lights blue touch paper, stands well back….😎

Wonderful tune. Bought it when it came out. First Blondie record I owned and first coloured vinyl too. Still have my original copy and still love it as much today.

That’s a great EP..!! The 10” genre was new to me at that time. Think I’ve maybe only got another couple of them ? Here’s my copy. Dickies were great 👍

Utterly brilliant album..!! Bought it when it came out. Was always gutted that ‘Reward’ wasn’t on it so finally got round to buying the re-released version a few months ago.

Hmmm…..now that you bring that up, the newly painted living room is crying out desperately for some new artwork 🤔 I do have previous for painting murals on my walls. What do you think of this one I painted on my grandson’s bedroom wall ?

Absolutely right. Still catching up with the gaps in my collection nearly 50 years later 😳

Colin Skene @therealskeneo.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Sure is. It was one of my favourites at the time.

I’ve loved this album since I first laid hands on it in 1978 so #nowplaying is the brilliant 3rd album by Blondie - ‘Parallel Lines’. Still takes me back to my teenage bedroom when I play it. @punkandnewwave.bsky.social @scotspostpunk.bsky.social

Wonderful tune..!! On a given day that could be my favourite Bunnymen tune. But then on another day…. Here’s my 12” version I bought when it came out.

Robert Rae was our ‘go to’ for Levi StaPrest and Doc Martens. Bruce Millers was on the Saturday trek of record shops.

An absolutely fantastic album, which I didn’t have until some absolutely top bloke donated it to me. Legend 😎

Colin Skene @therealskeneo.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Absolutely. There’s some absolutely crackin 12” singles among them. 🕺🪩

Brother-in-law donated his record collection to me the other day. Mostly 80s disco, but a few belters included. So #nowplaying is this wonderful compilation ‘The Singles’ by The Pretenders. Classic after classic here. @punkandnewwave.bsky.social @scotspostpunk.bsky.social

Great album. Another that my meagre pocket money didn’t stretch to back then, but I’ve recently rectified that anomaly.

Great tune. Was a big fan of The Police at this time. I’ve got the single in a nice green vinyl.
