As a dispatcher. Calling 9-1-1 saying this isn’t an emergency so we don’t need lights and sirens but calling 9-1-1 is insane. Y’all asses need to use y’all insurance. This is 9-1-1 everything you call this number will be handled as such. Like if it wasn’t an emergency why call here.

I’ve taken months journaling to be able to reflect. Look how far I’ve come. Remind myself of the reasons. & focus everyday every opportunity to not make excuses or mistakes but change in who I am as a person. Being open to being the best and being better everyday than yesterday.

My granny passed a way in 2013 from cancer. In 2013, I was 20. I didn’t know what life meant I wish after finding out she had cancer I embraced her more in those moments than making it about myself and running away from the heartbreak that happened anyway. Being able to cherish those moments then.

That being selfish isn’t selfish. In life you need to be the most important person in your life. You need to prioritize you FIRST. You don’t need to consider anything/anyone especially if they didn’t come from you as a higher priority than yourself. It’s selfish to yourself to put others first.
