What possible motive is there for the PL to conspire to create false allegations & launch a witch-hunt against Man City when any potential outcome can only do irreparable damage to their own product & reputation? Even if/when any appeal fails, the PL don’t ‘win’ here.

Rules states appeal has to be handled inside a 12 week window. So it will all be handled before the season ends, in terms of the guilt aspect. The actual sanctions on the other hand I’m guessing the PL is still weighing up, and measuring the public opinion
