I was thinking something similar recently. The world feels upside down, but somehow my wife and I produced a 15-yr-old boy, who is kind, empathetic and smart. I don't deserve him, but he's awesome.

Trump himself is not "self-assured." I was backstage at an event once when he came walking through. He saw that I was a lot taller/bigger than him and he got very flustered, uncomfortable. I looked down at him, smiled. He wilted like a little flower.

Yes, this. Sometimes I have to step away and have an attitude of "I don't want to know." I don't stay there and eventually get caught back up w everything. But at some point, I just feel a desire to eat some Ruffles and watch old reruns of Happy Days or something.
