Book 6 in one of my favorite series just dropped the audiobook. Shout-out to @mythcrafter.bsky.social for creating a series that stands out even among the 1k plus books I've read in the last few years 🔥

As someone that played EVE online in highschool. It's wild to me the shooter is just now getting going. After I remember hearing about the concept over a decade ago.

It comes tomorrow but I'm stretching in preparation just in case 🤣 Last time FedEx did this 3 times with my PSVR2. 3rd time I tracked down the distribution center and met him when he pulled up. Like.. so where you been? 😂

Most anticipated from the start of 2026? That's high praise.

I think luck is or can be a significant factor but not the only by far. There are a lot of variables especially depending on the type of streamer someone wants to be.

Yea I'm good, trying to stay locked in and get some of these games completed. My Fall/Winter lineup has officially started today. An it probably won't stop until after February next year 😂 Hope you are doing well yourself. This is a huge game for me as a fan of the expanse books and show!

A little Fire Emblem before bed.

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I think like I said on Mighty Keefs post about this. If it's keeping you gaming & you are enjoying it ignore the noise. Balance is important in all things. An in his case he specifically wants to get to games he hasn't played. Sometimes you have to prepare yourself to start that new game.

120

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

If you specifically want to focus on Steam games. Then Steam Deck if you can find one for a reasonable price. Combine it with lossless scaling and get even more performance.

000

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Yea Steam integration has been really well done lately. It also does Switch games as well but you gotta have a place to get the roms. Like anything emulation it isn't always perfect. But most people I've seen have had a great experience once they get it setup.

100

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Setup was really easy because I just followed a single YouTubers guide. An it perfectly let me set it up to play everything except Steam games. But that's easy to follow a separate guide for that.

010

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

So not all of the latest games but yes I'd recommend the 1tb Max 16. Recently people have started messing with Xbox 360 and PS3 emulation. An it can plays quite a few steam games. If you want to get a full idea of what it can do. I'd check out some YouTube videos ppl have done a lot with it.

110

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Yea my specific model has gone up $100 since I bought it for $479. But if you get the max 512 model you can still get it for that same price.

010

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

A better representation of my AYN Thors final form. Now that I've had more time to fully set it up! The sheer amount of platforms I can play on here is amazing! Especially when paired with the dual OLED screens! I Love this handheld!

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Yea the point for these is I hope I don't need an upgrade for years. I already have about 800 movies and several hundred audiobooks. An I want to put some anime and TV shows on there. TV shows are the real culprit in space though. Especially those with 3 to 5 plus seasons.

010

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I'm gonna keep it real storage constraints are lacking. I need Ready Player One levels of storage by 2028 🤣 my man had a 10 Zettabyte flash drive. That's the kind of storage I need to feel comfortable 🤣

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

#8 Assassin's Creed Black Flag RESYNCED A great remake from all of the teams involved @Ubisoft Still a bit to go for the Platinum if I can find the time. Absolutely amazing graphics & solid gameplay loop. A few issues with parkour and assasin prompts but great overall!

JRPG Enate @therealenate.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

#5 Crimson Desert (PS5Pro) ✅ Incredible combat ✅ Insane graphical detail ✅ Unbelievable draw distance ✅ Massive customization options ✅ An open world that feels lived in! ❌ Puzzles this one drove my crazy at times. Puzzles have puzzles at times & it was just way to much.

#4 Tangy TD (PC) One of my favorite generes has always been tower defense. An this was one I picked up awhile back during the tower defense sale. I enjoyed my time with it and look forward to updates toward the final build.

#3 REANIMAL (PS5) Solid game liked it better than Little Nightmares. Fun short co-op experience that played great on the PS5 Pro. Lighting and sound were the highlight of the experience by far! 8/10

#2 Octopath Traveler 0 (PS5) A great entry in the series. A lot of amazing stories and characters and incredible skills to utilize. Wish we had more skill slots but still thoroughly enjoyed my time with this one. The amount of times I thought I was at the end made me laugh.

Games Beat in 2026 Thread #1 Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS5) Still one of my favorite series since the original. Glad to finally get this one completed after chasing the ACE pilots for so long. Some crazy difficulty spikes at times but I loved it!

It would take some setup but I've seen people play PC games. They have apps that can help it play native Windows games and also stream them from your PC.
