However, one of, if not the absolute worst parts of the entire movie: There is a scene in this movie that involves child abuse and I am not going to talk about what happened in that scene but let me just say, that scene made me very uncomfortable and was very hard to watch.

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

If you have not seen That's My Boy (2012), then I HIGHLY don't recommend watching that movie at all, and I also recommend putting that movie on your blacklist if you have one made because you will highly regret watching that movie.

Nowadays, That's My Boy (2012) is the number one worst movie I have ever seen in my life, and that is truly a movie that should have been the number one worst movie of all time for me that whole time.

A user did a rant video on my rant video on Wreck-It Ralph, and I also hated Gravity Falls back in 2012/2013 aswell. (I still haven't seen Gravity Falls in its entirely as of yet). Here's that video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt1c...

Wreck-It Ralph is a movie I cannot believe I used to hate and claimed the worst movie I have ever seen in my life back when this movie came out and did a rant on this movie back in 2013 and I was known as Wreckitralphsucks712. I hate that account so much.

Overall, Summer 2026 (and 2026 as a whole) has been a little bit better of a year than 2025. After starting off to a bad start, it got much better beginning March/April 2026. I plan to make a year in review for 2026 on December 31, 2026.

000

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

My liquidation of nearly my entire VHS collection began on February 5, 2025 and ended on August 20, 2026: when I donated the last theater recorded bootleg VHS tapes I had to a little free library.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I also had a broken Betamax VCR that I also could have brought over to here to get some money, amongside almost my entire Betamax collection that I had from October 1, 2019 to September 2025.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Some of the stuff I had back in Florida, I probably should have brought here to sell to get even more extra cash, like my 2012 Acer Aspire One laptop, my 2017 HP laptop, and my 2020 HP laptop. I would've also probably gotten even more money had I kept most of the VHS tapes I had back in Florida.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

In addition, I also sold all 4 of my VCRs on July 14, 2026, my Sylvania Portable Blu-ray player on May 28, 2026, and My Acer Nitro 5 broken laptop on June 16, 2026

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Besides almost my entire VHS collection, I sold off my Vizio HDTV on July 4, 2026 to make way for a 4K UHD TV that I don't currently have as of yet.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I did find a HiSense LCD TV back on August 17, 2026 a block away from where I am living at, when I was checking on 3 different Little Free Libraries. However, I did not take it due to it being water damaged. Even if it was not damaged, it would have been too underpowered for me to have kept it.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Continued Cons of 2026: I still do not have any sort of equipment (which is a new TV) to play my 4K Ultra-HDs. This lead to me to get rid of my 4K UHD of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and downgrade it to the regular Blu-ray.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Continued Cons of Summer 2026: It did get up to 103 Degrees here in the area, and 101 degrees the following day.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Cons of Summer 2026: I had to cut back on a lot of my personal property/belongings and put some of it up on Craigslist to raise some extra cash. Specifically, I cut back on almost the entirely of my VHS collection.

(continued from last part) Joe Beez Stewart's Shops The Salvation Army Thrift Store (This was a 1 hour long walk, but it was worth my time) Dollar General (the closest one to my home, but it does not sell DVDs or Blu-rays) (All of this does not include the Little Free Libraries)

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Places I went to thus far on walking distances: Free to Thrift (currently my favorite thrift store in the area) People's Place (This thrift store does not carry DVDs or Blu-rays) Walgreen's Red Owl Collective Fairly New Thrift Shop PeaceLoveVintage Kingston Consignments Rhino Records (see next post)

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Continued Pros of Summer 2026: As you will see later in this multi-post, movie collection-wise, I FINALLY got the extra room that I have been needing since February 2025.

100

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Continued Pros of Summer 2026: I returned to Letterboxd back on March 14, 2026 after closing down my old one back in December 2025. For my birthday this year, I got a new Google Pixel 10 phone to replace my old Samsung Galaxy J7 phone that was an extremely underpowered and old phone.

110

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Continued Pros of Summer 2026: My ordering of DVD/Blu-ray activity has significantly increased in comparision to previous years, mainly because the previous few years I had to be on a very tight budget, but this year and all future years my budget won't be nearly as tight.

110

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Continued Pros of Summer 2026: While I collect mostly Blu-rays, my DVD collecting came to a resurgence. I even found Laserdiscs at multiple stores, HD-DVDs at 2 stores, and even a CED at one store. I also found 2 UMDs at one store, though I did not get either one

110

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Pros of Summer 2026: My move to New York finally came true in April 2026. My new home has A/C whereas I had no A/C in my old house from August 2021 to October 2025. I went to a variety of different places within walking distances, some being further away but worth my time.

110

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

With only 8 days left of Summer 2026, I'll give my review of this summer early: This is (has been) a significantly better summer than every summer of Florida from 2007 to 2025, especially a better Summer than both 2016 and 2025. (Summers of 2022, 2023 and 2024 weren't very good either)

140

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

So far, 2026 has been a better year for me than 2025.

000

The REAL Devinnytroy @therealdevinnytroy.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

August now, and summers here in New York has been much better in comparison to Florida. Hopefully I will never waste my time living in Florida ever again.
