@blumenthal.senate.gov A big fuck you to hanging up on me after an hour on hold to tell you that voting against Sanders to stop sending money to Isreal for their genocide against the Palestinians is not representative of your constituents. See you at the primaries.

I've been chatting about the #draft2digital announcement with others and if they had just announced a yearly fee to help cover storage and service costs, I would have been irritated but fine. This change targets low sellers and protects bulk slop. Which is infuriating @draft2digital.bsky.social

Yeah and the response is to chase off actual authors rather than the people pushing out slop, it's so bullshit >< They'd charge per like 50 books or whatever if they actually cared

The D2D news really fucked with me. I'm already struggling finding the point of returning to trying to write. Now this. I don't make $ off of my books, I suck at marketing myself. My motivation has been in the dumps. Being an indie author was extremely difficult before, and now it's impossible.

As someone who isn't afraid one bit to call herself a socialist...this. There should be transparency as to what our money is being used for. I want my taxes to be used for universal healthcare, roads, environment, etc, not the fascist regime. Boggles my mind there is no transparency on specifics.

Astara can't control her illusion magic. The monster behind her is her creation, and she knows it's harmless.... and yet :P Big scary monster = AHHHH! This was a fun draw and my birthday present to myself :) #beginnerartist #startingartist

A frightened woman with a poofy tail (which has sharp toothed mouths on it) holds a pillow and has an expression of fear. she has horns and sharp teeth, along with pitch black eyes with a crimson tiny pupil in the center. A blanket is covering most of her body. A blood red monster with a gaping mouth is posed behind her as if it's about to attack.

This is an intricate subject but I'll voice 500 words of YOUR writing, or can write 250 words based on a prompt. This WILL go into my portfolio. I CAN decline the writing or prompt if I am not comfortable. Again - look at my T&S please. Absolutely NO GenAI allowed in any part of this.

+ I want to give to the community and in the wake of genAI challenging authors and voice actors, it's really quite sad. Thus, rather than turn to genAI for something like this, I figured I'd toss the offer out there. Also, no deadlines, it may take me a week or two. IRL is tough. +

HEY INDIE AUTHORS If you need someone to voice a 500 word sample of your book for a trailer or advertising, I will do it for free (with high caveats). 1. Credit to me is required. 2. No NSFW. 3. RAW AUDIO. You get it fresh off the microphone, you do the editing. Poke here if interested.+
