Tristie @tristie.org · 18/10/2026There were a few I had really lucky guesses for, but in the end I ended up loosing points by clicking Iraq for Iran 😭 020 2
Tristie @tristie.org · 18/10/2026Oh wow the git tree diagrams are beautiful, I wonder if pele would be a good fit for @tangled.org’s tree views 👀 000 0
Tristie @tristie.org · 17/10/2026Ha at first I thought it was who had written the most pds implementations but after reading the numbers I figured it was “who writes the most to their pds” but the number was too low, and then I finally figured out the correct meaning and agree that this is a stellar sickos leaderboard :0 000 0
Tristie @tristie.org · 17/10/2026You’ll never guess what movie I watched directly before seeing this post 120 2
Tristie @tristie.org · 13/10/2026I’ve used the ns for units (CSS.px), but escaping looks to be a lot more useful and I didn’t know about that 010 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 09/10/2026This is actually a great decision and blog post, hopefully it works out well 000 0
Tristie @tristie.org · 08/10/2026Scratch that.. dot plc was also applied for by someone so that could be interesting if it’s public 000 0
Tristie @tristie.org · 08/10/2026Okay, but counterpoint: gtlds.fyi/wish/protoco...gtlds.fyiI'd take hypertexttransfer.protocol — gtlds.fyiWhat name would you pick if this were available? hypertexttransfer.protocol is on my 2026 gTLD wishlist. 010 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 08/10/2026Google only sold off their registrar and not their registry (haha confusing I know) so they still own their TLDs and are just buying more and licencing some of them (for example they still operate .dev) 150 5
Tristie @tristie.org · 08/10/2026Update: plc.did maybe is going to be possible soon(ish) and it also looks great in xrpc: did.plc.getHistory of whatevs 100 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 07/10/2026It's an acronym so its pronounced like the letters, especially since ~ is a tilde 100 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 29/09/2026It’s still on the market at least, so if the org ~~is bad with money~~ is super cool they could possibly buy it 👀 010 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 24/09/2026Ask the PR reviewer reviewer to not approve of your PR reviewer’s review of your PR 010 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 24/09/2026Made public yet? That sounds very interesting I’d like to try them 100 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 23/09/2026YAY! I am glad to be recognized for recognizing the recognizer of REAL (tom) verified users 010 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 11/09/2026I'm wondering if you can get a friend to act as a proxy name and give them some serious sounding company role that doesn't mean anything in practice (like the british monarchy) 040 4
Tristie @tristie.org · 07/09/2026A vite plugin for atproto oauth would be pretty cool. I'm not sure how well equipped I am to make it, but I'll attempt it, I guess. 040 4
Tristie @tristie.org · 07/09/2026I've never heard of MSW before this post, so I was crying at the concept of running Microsoft Windows as a vite plugin 😭 120 2
Tristie @tristie.org · 07/09/2026This is very cool, here's some minor bug reports for ya: - list view sticky header has no bg - pdsls being hosted at the same domain is a bit buggy and will only resolve if you go from /explorer, else says "Invalid path" (repro: go to repo from /explorer and reload) - newlines in bsky user desc gone 100 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 05/09/2026Wow this got really philosophical for me since I host my account and I’m not sure how well I truly know myself.. 😭 010 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 05/09/2026Woah, the timing of this lined up perfectly with a post I made 2 days ago and it might be a perfect base to build atproto support on top of 110 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 03/09/2026Oh wow it's so small I thought it was one of those id cards they give you at events and was wondering which event you were going to, until I fully processed the text haha 120 2
Tristie @tristie.org · 02/09/2026Is there any on-proto family tree making software yet since I want to make a pseudo family tree for @a.tpro.to since the bio length limit has been reached unfortunately 020 2
Tristie @tristie.org · 02/09/2026Petitioning to add every single hex code as a TLD, check out my blog at tristie.#4b0a24 020 2
Tristie @tristie.org · 02/09/2026It's a shame that there aren't more color TLDS (only rgb, pink and black) because I just think that would be cool. It's also a shame that we're most definitely not getting a ".white" tld since I know quite a few people with that surname, but I'm sure it's pretty clear why that would be a bad idea.. 130 3
Tristie @tristie.org · 01/09/2026For You putting this post after the Anthropic 5.1 announcement is excellent storytelling 000 0
Reposted by Tristiezeu @zeu.dev · 31/08/2026true! but imagine an "atproto drive" with standard site docs, lexidraw canvasses, comail email, blob storage easily accessible, etc 4101 10
Tristie @tristie.org · 24/08/2026But... but... we already have atproto docs :))))) atproto.com/docs 040 4
Tristie @tristie.org · 24/08/2026To my knowlege, yes, but I personally removed it using rm -fr / when I got my computer so I'm not sure if it's still a thing 030 3
Tristie @tristie.org · 24/08/2026I’m still waiting on the English language to ship a package manager 😕 190 9
Tristie @tristie.org · 22/08/2026For example, if I was to ask you "When are you going to stop throwing furniture out your window (silly example)", and a rando saw my post, I'm sure that they would be curious about why I have that opinion of you. 100 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 22/08/2026I’m also not here for debate, but surely you can see how your original question can easily be seen as bad faith unless you were to give a reasoning behind your presumption. Again, I’m not even denying the possibility that ai writes terrible code, but I am curious on what led you to form that opinion 110 1
Tristie @tristie.org · 22/08/2026..steep decline in code quality, or perhaps have found increasing amounts of bugs in the app or the like, but from my point of view many of the problems bsky has don't really have anything to do with its code. If it is due to downtime, I'm pretty sure that was the result of upstream issues, not them 140 4
Tristie @tristie.org · 22/08/2026Hey I'm not the ceo, nor do I even really use ai, but I'm a developer and I figured I'd attempt to make a good faith question: Is there any specific reason you feel that the ai usage of the team has resulted in terrible code? I'm not sure if you've been looking at the repository and have noticed a.. 140 4
