This was listed as one of the best books of 2025, and I think I agree. I read this for book club. My book club had mixed feelings, but this book hit me right in the feels and tapped the nostalgia for my 20's. I cried at the end, so not fair. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.25 💙📚 #booksky #bookreview

✨TBR Spotlight✨ ❓What's your favorite sapphic romance? One book on my TBR is "Can't Spell Treason Without Tea" by Rebecca Thorne. I do keep nominating it for the BOTM for @thebookanalysts.bsky.social, but it never wins. Haha. 💙📚 #booksky 🪐📚

The tagline reads, “A cozy fantasy steeped with love.” This is an uncorrected advance reading copy marked “Not For Sale.”

Would you stay in a murder house? I think I would, but I'm not sure. Haha. A slow, simmering story about messy friendships, creative women, mediocre men, and one very cursed Italian villa. Not a thriller, but I was hooked. The vibes are strong and the drama is real. 💙📚 #booksky #bookreviews
A physical copy of The Villa by Rachel Hawkins is displayed on a tablet standing on a wooden table. The cover is teal with lemons and a large crack running down the center. Next to the tablet is a cute plush yellow bird wearing a straw hat, pearl necklace, and polka-dotted swimsuit. In the background are red, white, and blue artificial flowers and books on a shelf. There is a graphic showing a four star rating at the bottom.

What are you reading this June? Any summer plans? I'd like to get some backpacking done, some day hikes, and go on a vacation. A vacation at a real hotel. Haha. Fingers crossed. And, as always, I hope to get some reading done while I melt in the 100F+ heat. 🔥 💙📚 #booksky

What do you think about animal characters? Do you have a favorite? Because I'm pretty sure I would die for the chicken with a demon in it and Bonedog. This was such a whimsical and creepy book. I loved it. 💙📚 #booksky #bookreviews 🪐📚
The book Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher is displayed standing upright on a sunlit wooden railing with a tree in the background. The cover shows a woman partially obscured by nettle vines and bones. At the bottom is a five-star rating graphic in a gray banner.

Have you read this? Do you have any recommendations for similar books? 4.25 ⭐ The way this story unravels is weird and unsettling in the best way. I had such a great time listening to it. It's a pretty slow book overall, but it worked really well in the audiobook. 💙📚 #booksky #bookreviews 🪐📚
“The book ‘Mexican Gothic’ by Silvia Moreno-Garcia is centered in the image, showing a woman in a deep red off-the-shoulder dress holding yellow flowers against a green patterned background. The background of the image features black-and-white illustrations of a Victorian house and mushrooms, giving the scene a dark, eerie aesthetic.”
