I think if he's going to keep "joking" about running for a 3rd term, then we need to start "joking" about Obama running again. Where all them "I would've voted for Obama 3 times if I could've" people. F*ck it Rules don't matter anymore #Obama2028 #Resist

It's going to take a full-on revolution to get us out of this. So yeah, that's something we're all going to need to start mentally preparing ourselves for.

Late Apr 2026 - recently, the setting sun through the living room windows provided me this bit of odd shadow play. Against the wall is an obscured view: on the left, a metal steampunk owl sculpture (its eyes probing and mysterious, its feathers tucked behind), and on the right, the left-hand side/corner of the TV screen. Cropped only; no sepia-toned edit employed - all just luck to capture this supa-cool picture.

Mar 2024 - some fisherfolk hang out at the dock at Kāwhia, keen for a catch. The low tide and time of day provides wonderful shadow play - the wooden pylons of the dock reflecting in the harbour's glassy water below (as well as further along in the shallows of the black sand shoreline). The sky is light blue and cloudless. A water bird zips along in the still water leaving a tiny wake behind it. In the background and off to the right, a squat metal hunk of machinery dredges for minerals.

Late Mar 2026 - sunset at Muriwai Beach. The low tide provided opportune conditions to wander further out onto the unreachable rock outcroppings during high tide. From here, our dark shadows s t r e t c h in front of us, contrasting against the tan of the eroded sediment as lit up by the sunset. In the background are some sheer cliffs where the Gannet colonies is located (on the cliff, and on Gannet Rock). There are several wooden viewing decks to check out the birds from above. This is the first time I was able to catch this unique sight from below and from the Tasman looking inland. To the right, surfers had waded in the shallows and swum further out to test their skills on some decent-sized waves.

Apr 2026 - as I was tucking the house into bed, wandering room to room to close the blinds and shut off the lights, this Daddy Longlegs halted its trek across a stark white wall. What was just one spider now became two-in-one as the light from the dining room had yet to be turned off. Nicely posing for a few shots, it then hustled off to its haunt near the ceiling. I'm not terribly keen on spiders, but these kind have become my friends - they keep away the nastier creepy-crawlies. Namaste, kind spider-pal.

There’s a dusty windowsill. In a room. Where once I wrote your #name In a place out furtherest. Towards the black. And though barely legible. I still see it all the same. Id hoped in time if left unread. Each word would slowly fade. Taking the heartache with it. Along with all my pain #vss365 #poem

There’s a dusty windowsill.
In a room.
Where once I wrote
your #name
In that place.
Furtherest towards
the back.
And though barely
legible.
I can still see it all
the same.
Id hoped in time
if left unread.
Each word would
slowly fade.
Taking the heartache
with it.
Along with all my pain.

I see the people and the world that they are livin in But these people just forgot about what livin is They see their fellow man as someone to be better than Instead of lovin others they judge them 'cause they're different Trust The Stars By Coastal High #Lyrics #Scape #Photography #ImageAndVerse

The lyrics are from the independent rock/reggae band Coastal High out of South Jersey, New Jersey, USA.
A Song from their just released debut album Thursdays At 7, called Trust The Stars

A few highlights from the latest batch. We tried some new designs, really think they turned out well. #TieDye

Koala.

We were going for a Grateful Dead type bear on this one, looks more like a koala 😄 still like it though. ❤️

Heartbeats.

Black and white "Starburst" tie-dye pattern with a heart in the center.
