But as a city, Kathmandu left me a little disappointed. Outside the main sights, I found it quite old, messy and run-down, with a lot of dust, traffic and dirt After finally getting there, I couldn't help feeling that the city itself wasn't for me #travel #traveladdicts #Travelblogshare

No crowds, no traffic, just quiet streets, traditional houses, and incredible mountain views. Every corner offered a different view of the surrounding hills. #travel #traveladdicts #Travelblogshare If you're rushing from Pokhara to Kathmandu, consider spending a night or two in Bandipur.

After two unforgettable weeks in the #Himalayas, it was time to leave the mountains behind. I returned to Pokhara for a night before heading to my next stop: #Bandipur. Bandipur is a small hilltop town in #Nepal that feels frozen in time. elprismadefer.com/en/que-hacer... #TravelBloggersCommunity

The best part isn't just getting there, it's waking up surrounded by a giant amphitheater of snow-covered peaks. If you're staying there, set your alarm early. That's when the mountains are usually at their clearest. A little later, the clouds often roll in and hide the summits. #TravelBloggers

After finishing the #AnnapurnaCircuit, I wasn't ready to leave the #Himalaya yet. Instead, I continued straight to #AnnapurnaBaseCamp. Starting from Tatopani, it took me four days to reach the base camp, and every step was worth it. #nepal #hiking #traveladdicts elprismadefer.com/trekking-al-...

Each country built its own Buddhist temple complex with completely different architectural styles. Some of my favorites were the temples from South Korea and Myanmar. It almost feels like traveling through different parts of Asia while staying in one place.

Lumbini has a very different atmosphere compared to the chaos I had gotten used to in India. The whole area feels slower, quieter and much more spiritual. Walking around the monasteries and temples from different Buddhist countries was one of the things I enjoyed the most there.

Another thing I liked it was how good the metro system is. After traveling through different parts of India, having such an organized and modern way to move around the city made everything much easier. For a city of that size, I found it surprisingly manageable to explore.

There are other beautiful Mughal mausoleums, the Red Fort, and not too far away, Fatehpur Sikri, with its impressive mosque complex and historic architecture. The Taj Mahal is perfect. The symmetry, the white marble, it’s hard to explain until you see it yourself. #india #travel #traveladdicts

But Bikaner is a good the base to visit the Karni Mata Temple, also known as the “Rat Temple.” Thousands of rats everywhere. Running around, climbing, walking between your feet. It’s bizarre and definitely not for everyone, but easily the most unique thing I did there.

There’s something about the whole setting that makes it a really enjoyable place to explore. But the highlight is definitely the City Palace, massive, one of the biggest in #India (up there with #Mysore). Endless rooms, intricate details, and some great views over the lake. Very nice

What stands out the most is the level of detail. As you descend through the stepwell, the walls are covered with intricate carvings and sculptures, each section more impressive than the last. You can easily spend a long time just observing the craftsmanship.
