A lot of games' evil routes are a mustache-twirling, cartoonishly evil-for-evil's-sake joke. An easy, non-tempting no. Or you do the exact same thing as the other route, you're just mean/rude in dialogue: token evil at best. A particularly shallow, boring evil.

They offer a paltry, unappealing evil reward to make you rather undeservedly feel like you're good for easily refusing it. I think Bioshock was one of the few games I've played where the evil route and rewards could actually be considered mechanically viable and just as dignified as the good route.

I wish games would offer actually tempting rewards when they're trying to tempt you to be/allow evil. It would be much more interesting. A two-bit bad guy offering 200 Game-Currency for my action (or inaction) when I have 70,000 G-C that I've run out of things to spend it on just doesn't cut it.

The whole parsec/Kessel Run retcon/explanation was unnecessary. Assuming a standard starting and ending point to the Kessel Run, a shorter distance traveled means passing closer to obstacles: it's not a test of the ship's speed, but a test of the pilot's daring and skill.

I just read a couple of books on/by the Marx Brothers, and they mentioned being treated WAY better when they played in the UK than by townsfolk in the US. I think he'd've been happiest if his opponents had no agency and just sat there politely not playing the game while he played his cards and eventually "won." Some people think it's unfair that their opponents get to make moves, too. Some of them are even surprised that their opponents make moves.

When I was in college a bunch of my people in my dorm got hit for using Limewire, $1800 per song uploaded, but they'd settle for $3500 no matter how many. I don't know how much it cost to buy tracks was at the time, but I know it $1800 is many, many times what they were charging.

I love hiking, but my best friend always wants to go hiking when it's like 90+ degrees (Fahrenheit) out and actually kind of dangerous to hike (especially when it's near 100% humidity) vs my preference of literally any temp between 40 and 80 degrees.

I've been making my own red pepper flakes for a few years, just got this year's plants in the planter (an above-ground fire pit my dad found on the side of the road). Two cayenne plants, a jalapeno, and a tabasco. Was hoping to find mirasol and/or poblano, but nowhere I went to had them.
