Finally got around to Cameron Crowes book. It's funny I realize how much my life was a parallel to his at basically the same time (except I didn't become rich, famous or marry Nancy Wilson) One line in the book really stands out: "Music was more than music, it was a door that opened for 3 minutes"

Man what a shit way to wake up, first thing I saw was the Dave Mason passed this weekend. We go back all the way to his days in Traffic. His first solo album I still think is one of the best out there. Been awhile since we talked but one of the nicest people I knew in rock. RIP Dave

It's a little of both. Teams like LAD, NYY, BOS have owners with no problem spending the money which creates winning which puts butts in the seats. Teams like my team CLE refuse to pay for high price FA or keep high price talent so we get excitement in the start of the season but empty seats later
