Most language learning advice is designed for people learning one language. Or one at a time. So it make sense that when you're juggling to, three, four plus languages the advice doesn't exactly... translate.

Unpopular opinion: When you're speaking in another language with someone and they switch to your native one...it's not that big of a deal. Instead, ask yourself... what's stopping you from continuing the conversation anyway? Seriously, just KEEP GOING~! You've got this 🥰

The fact that everyone can recommend a different language app they swear by, love, use regularly, see progress with (whether they use the app solely or the app+ other things)... ...AND argue about it for ages should be proof enough that there isn't one single best app. #langsky

You're going to sound like a toddler when speaking. 1-3 years is a toddler. You're going to struggle with native content for a while. Kids struggle to understand shows and stories at 5 years old that they don't have experience with. You're learning, not natively born into it. #langsky
