That's what I think. I don't buy the gammon argument that Brixton is too scary. It IS so busy, especially near the tube and people just want to get through / out quickly without dawdling.

I think it's because Brixton tube is not a place you want to dawdle. So busy you just want to get through it or out of it. Still cannot forgive TfL for forcing out Pritesh from the news kiosk.

Well in Brixton we now have the full demographic set: Greggs, Pret and now a Gail's. The Starbucks didn't survive long on the same site, but we will see.

There was a glut of durian when we were there a couple of months ago. Apparently global heating is causing the two growing seasons to overlap.

My wife has just defrosted and eaten a load of durian brought back from our recent trip to Malaysia. The place smells like there has been a gas leak.
