WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP VENEZUELA?

glad you asked, because that’s what this post is about.

here are some ways to help if you’re outside of the country ➡️

DETAILED INFO AND LINKS:
my linktree now includes a document with several links to news articles regarding the venezuelan earthquakes and donation info that you can check more easily than through instagram slides. will be constantly updating it. QR code here, link in my bio as well.

i urge you to give it a look before you make any donations, as it’s very important to know what you’re doing.

ONLINE DONATIONS FOR VENEZUELAN EARTHQUAKE RELIEF:

here are some trusted ways to donate:

https://dona.yummyrides.com/
https://caritasvenezuela.org/donaciones/
https://www.gofundme.com/f/emergency-relief-for-venezuela-earthquake-victims
https://donarseguro.com/en

note: do NOT donate to Cruz Roja (the venezuelan red cross) since they work with the regime and they keep the donations and supplies, they’re a scam

alternatively, if you see venezuelan artists offering commissions, COMMISSION THEM! many talented artists across all social media are offering their art in exchange for your donation towards earthquake relief.

please also know that many have also lost their home and loves ones, so be patient and remember that this is for charity.

twitter has been the most active with the venezuelan art community sharing each other’s posts offering commissions. we are literally everywhere, just look up “venezuela earthquake commissions”

if you can’t donate, PLEASE at least share our posts! this tragedy is being talked about very little in the anglosphere compared to when they captured maduro. it’s genuinely distressing to see how so many prioritized a dictator’s life over our own.

the venezuelan earthquakes tragedy continues on, two weeks later. i'm more actively posting about it on twitter because i do not have the energy to keep up with multiple social media pages at the moment + we venezuelans heavily rely on twitter to spread urgent news and information, bsky is useless.

screenshot showing a tweet i made on july 5 calling attention to the news of the official death toll from the venezuelan earthquakes having risen to 3342 at the time the news was posted.

"earthquakes death toll higher than 9/11 and the world still isnt talking about it enough. and these are just the official numbers, we know the actual number is much higher.

july 5 is independence day here in venezuela but we're in mourning. may we someday be free again. 🇻🇪"

My cooking gas ran out 2 days ago, I've been forced to cook over burning plastic just to prepare food for my family. The toxic smoke is making it hard for me to breathe, but I have no other way to cook. I urgently need $200 to buy cooking gas so I can prepare meals safely again.🇵🇸🙏 gofund.me/d0cc0587

Samaa is a mother of two little girls in Gaza, and she lives every day in fear and anxiety about their future. Your donation, no matter how small, could provide them with food and safety and give them a glimmer of hope. Don't leave them alone. chuffed.org/project/1575...

Food, clean water, fuel, hygiene supplies, medical supplies - ALL supplies - get into Gaza by being smuggled through Israel's genocidal blockade. Hard to find. Makes both supplies & medical care impossible to afford w/o help. Always critical. Pls RS/QS. Pls do what you can. #HelpFolksLive2026
