I like the direction but I would’ve appreciated some more interactions before we get there. An angry Hangman in the ring being pointed out as petulant by OC leading to a brawl and then next week or Collision, OC wrestles someone and Hanger kills him afterwards which then finally leads to a match.

I don’t know who would fit that role but someone should come up to Copeland and tell him he’s not the savior. He’s been a lifelong WWE guy and not exactly an AEW original and someone should point that out. Hangman would be a good fit for that but I think they’re gonna have him and OC feud soon.

Equally excited and nervous for this Dynamite, I may be wrong but I feel like historically AEW don’t do well in post PPV shows but this will be a big one. They have a roster deep enough to put on a good card AND a good show on Wednesday.

Step 1 for any promotion that is “cold” or not having their best year or whatever you wanna call it is listening to the crowds and people in arenas. Social media is cool and all but listen to your paying customer! The 2/3 main feuds in AEW should by default always be including Ospreay and Swerve.

The Death Riders story was off to a string strong start and then descended into silliness and I like Cope but that isn’t the spot for him IMO. At least someone should call him out that he ain’t the savior of AEW, he’s a WWE lifer and that is something that should just be ignored.

Okada vs Ospreay was otherworldly. Ospreay’s 2024 PPV run is probably the best of all time. Omega’s return was amazing, the main event has a tough task and hasn’t been built well enough for it.

The reason the C2 helps AEW’s booking is because it’s forced structure, it’s something that make you have to care and note wins and losses. It’s just like the rankings which should come back full time. Give me a top 10 this time instead of a top 5.

I wish AEW in 2025 would stop having feuds over the soul of AEW. Feuds should be based on personal issues or championships. Darby avenging Bryan would’ve been a better story than “saving AEW”, Eddie should came back hating what his friend has become rather than caring about AEW itself.

Dynamite should open with a recap of Komander vignette from Final Battle then a 12 minute sprint where he upsets Claudio. AEW TV has improved recently largely due to the C2 but is has been a bit heel heavy, my favorite and the crowd’s favorite part of last night was DG/Shelton and its post match.

I thought Collision was great outside of a few bits and bobs. The Blue league is looking clear as I expect Fletcher to advance as the group leader and Okada as the runner up. I have a theory re: Athena/Billie. Athena will keep the title till July when she faces Mercedes for both titles. Athena will then win this match, Billie then challenges AND beats Athena at Final Battle fibally getting the title AND winning her first AEW title. Not saying good or bad just a theory.
