This is such a difficult choice. Balatro, Animal Well, and UFO 50 all deserve it. In an objective sense, I think UFO 50 deserves it most for the creativity and work put into it. I think Balatro will win because of popularity, but that game felt a little more like the dev stumbling onto a good idea.
