Garden update! Went for variety this year. While I’m thrilled by the aesthetic of the whole thing, only the little orange ones are anything special. The rest are just regular ol tomatoes. Next year I’ll replace half with eggplant and an Asian squash that doesn’t get squash vine borers.

These guys had a crazy journey. One of my free store homies briefly “borrowed” the box of starts, so they were living in a pretty gross trash bag, in the dark, for a few days. When I got them back, I had to wait out a bad heat wave to plant, but I didn’t wait long enough. Life finds a way, though!
