The Ring demands a lot. Besides being extremely willful. But, the job is isolating, by sheer dint of seeing places and peoples no other human will. It doesn’t pay any money, doesn’t offer retirement packages, and EAP benefits? lol. The guardians could care less. #lanterns

Doing some more thinking and I think I get why the writer explanations don’t sit with me. It’s because I don’t think it was a Gollem Moment at all to keep the ring at all costs. Rather, Hal, was trying to *matter* and the only way he *matters* is with the Ring. #lanterns

It is funny that the writers are so insistent at saying that the Ring corrupted Hal, and he had a Gollum moment but like… I am not convinced of it in the show. What was he supposed to do leave a Manhunter, wanted for genocide, in Rushville? let them play house when she already said #lanterns

The school basically did a controlled cancel of the rest of the day. It was a quiet sort of bedlam and nothing was getting done. I ended up spending the rest of the day in my gym class.

The computer networks then almost couldn’t keep up with the strain. Despite my district being 2.5 hrs from NYC , there were still people trying to figure out what happened. An art teacher was trying to call her partner.

Yeah, I don’t think the Guardians wanted Hal. Doubly so, after Sinestro. But the supposed “immortal” Guardians probably knew more than the interrogated alien, especially what sociopolitical button to press, and after seeing John’s mother.

#lanterns 1x3, you can’t tell me the Guardians didn’t know exactly what they were doing, while playing dumb alien. They know Earth History and sociopolitcal climate. They dangled the ring in front of that family knowing they could create exactly what they want. And used that family’s race to do it.

I played the first a few years ago. It’s a very small game, like 4 small dungeons. The combat was interesting but it’s well agreed that it was a decent proof of concept game. The sequel, should be more than that.
