Thought I had: So it's a common complaint among more grammatically inclined people that "literally" has come to mean "figuratively", thereby devaluing the meaning of the word. And yes we can go into how language evolves and all that jazz but I think that's missing the point.

So, overall I really like Starfleet Academy, but there's one thing that really sticks out to me as confusing and kind of indefensible. In the first episode, there's a gag where rebel boy Caleb refuses to get a regulation haircut, only to recieve a nonconsentual one via sci-fi shenanigans.

I'm entertaining the idea of writing a Sapphic romance. I don't have a Sapphic bone in my body (unless Audrey Hepburn is involved because I'm not *dead*), and when I can't understand a perspective I tend to try writing it. Get out of my head and into someone else's to see from a different angle.

There's nothing that makes me feel more centered and okay than taking care of my bf. Even just making him some egg salad, there are so many little intentional choices I can make to demonstrate that I'm thinking of him and it makes me feel so tangible, so present. It's amazing on bad brain days.
