I'm not dead! The flu has been beaten, and I'm making plans for a build/painting stream. And so I gotta ask: we doing Ogors, or Mega-Gargants? Cause we've got options, and I plan to finish all of these on-stream eventually, but an initial order would be nice. #Ageofsigmar #warhammer

Welp, another stream, a few more minis painted. Sure was fun, even if I was mostly talking to myself the entire time. Anyways, until next time, Cheers!

...You know that feeling when you're not sure if your body image issues are a result of trauma, or because you subconsciously know this ain't the right body for you? Been a very confusing couple of days and I'm still left confused.

*Too stunned to speak* er... Guess I actually CAN draw decently.

Welp, started designing my own Dragon species for DnD. Won't be showing the stats till they're complete, but have some artwork by yours truly instead. #dragon #dungeonsanddragons #dnd

Well folks, thinks it's been a long enough break. But tomorrow, at 18:00 GMT+2, I'll make my glorious return. Join me as I try to see if I can't paint a pair of giants, and the two tag alongs, in one sitting. But until then, Cheers!

000

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Did you know I used to draw stuff, back in like middle-school? As you can see, I wasn't very good, and haven't improved much since. Maybe it's time to change the latter part...

010

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Some evening painting before going to bed. The Cloud Giantess was definitely a more complex project compared to the Gold Dragon, but I think she came out alright. #dnd #giant #miniature

As it turns out, painting a Gold Dragon doesn't take long. Still, looks very pretty. #dnd #dragon #miniature

Been on a bit of a DnD binge, so I decided to splurge on some miniatures. That Gold Dragon and Cloud Giant will be fun to paint. Maybe on stream, or off it, who knows?!

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

My back's been hurting for about a week and two days ago my left leg also started hurting. So not only is work eating my energy reserves, it's also slowly breaking me down physically. Feel like I should just give up everything outside of work and just become a mindless drone. Fuck capitalism.

010

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Some light painting for the evening. Obviously not ready by a longshot, but I figured I'd make it clear I'm not dead yet, just struggling with work, and my back being a pain, literally. I'll include some lore for this fella when he's done.

000

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

You know that feeling when you're shopping and find a plushie that speaks to you? No regrets.

010

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Hmm, I've got a long weekend ahead of me (Sat, Sun, Mon). How we feeling about some streams? Been way too lax in thr past few weeks. Some games, some painting (I've got a giant rat I want to paint) and a lot of yapping, as usual. Might even do a stream on Friday after a good nap.

000

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Hmm, bit of an AoS line up. Which do uou think I should paint on stream: The Rat, The Bull, or The Demon? I'll probably include a Pestigor as well, still got three to go. The stream will probably happen on Saturday, got an evening shift tomorrow and I doubt I'll have energy then.

000

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

I feel, tired. I always come from work feeling exhausted and can't takea nap because I know it'll just mess up my sleep at night. Feels like work is swallowing my whole life and any will to live with it. I wanna stream, I wanna paint, but I just, can't, it feels like.

110

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Hmm, think I'll do a building/painting stream in an hour or two, a very late birthday stream as it were (As of the 28th, I'm 24 now. Let that sink in, if ya would).

100

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

...welp, depressive episode over. Instead, I'll be streaming some Sea of Thieves with a few other Finntubers at 6 pm GMT+2. Based on last time, a lot of laughs, chaos and lost treasure are ahead. Oh boy...

110

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

You ever feel isolated? Like you talk to people, but don't really think they care what you're saying, or are indifferent in general? Like you could legit drop dead and nobody would care beyond some mild sadness? Well, I'm in that part of my depression again. I know this'll pass, but it feels, bad.

010

The Northern Grot (Vtuber) @thenortherngrot.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

You know that feeling when you can't quite decide what to stream? I'm split between Shadow of Mordor, Overcooked, or Baldur's Gate 3.

So I've been pondering. I like to sing, even if I don't do karaoke that often. I want to do a karaoke stream one day, but I'd like to start with someone a bit more experienced first. youtu.be/ob9zIqygSSc?... The song has nothing to do with this though, no siree.

So while the true answer for my smell is paint and plastic glue, I do think that this would be my choice in a more polite society. Cool water for a Northern Grot. (And I really need to commish some actual artwork gods damn it)
