NME @thenme.bsky.social · 29/11/2023Best tempo run of this prep so far. Same pace as last week's 5km but maintained over 6km. Better still, it was the first really cold day. low 20s with the wind chill. Feels GREAT to perform in those conditions! 4.5 weeks until Disney half marathon. 😄 010
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 27/11/2023lol wow gif imbedding stinks/doesn't exist on this app. That's a shame. 010
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 27/11/2023VO2 Max back on the rise (finally). I don't think I can ever hit 60, but considering I used to dread running one mile in gym class, it could be a lot worse! media.tenor.com/8PJYOgCNVzgA...media.tenor.com 000
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 24/11/202317km run today. Rolled my ankle THREE FREAKIN TIMES but still managed to complete the run faster than last week's 16km and on a faaster pace than my 14km run 3 weeks ago. Knees were about as good as I can reasonable hope for, for better or worse. 010

NME @thenme.bsky.social · 23/11/2023My ideal Thanksgiving meal is a smorgasbord of different foods. Baked Ziti > Mac & Cheese Crabs > Turkey Brisket > Ham Fried rice > Mashed Potatoes Burritos > Stuffing And to meet the traditionalists halfway: Pumpkin & Pecan pies a plenty. THE BEST traditional Thanksgiving foods! 000
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 23/11/2023This is basically the greatest (or at least the funniest) MTPO PB of all time. It's not the best time or remotely close to it. But you know those runs you hate to run against because the splits are brutal? This is the opposite of that. 010
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 22/11/2023This isn't true, but when you binge Bob's Burgers it sure feels like every episode is a Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas episode, which at this time of year is really great! 010
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 22/11/2023I have been more or less doing the same thing for Thanksgiving for, geez, most of my life now, and I have absolutely no idea what time any of it starts. 020
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 13/10/2023You can't convince people to not betray you if they want to. There is no intellectual or emotional appeal to convince them. Conversely, those who care and are loyal don't need convincing. They have your back, and you should certainly have theirs. The others aren't worth your time & energy. 130
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 05/10/2023If someone is upset, you can ask them why or if they want to talk about it. If they say no, that's it. Your part in this is over. Don't keep asking, even if you "just want to be there for them," they're handling it the way they choose. They are not obligated to satisfy your curiosity. 030
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 04/10/2023Fitness and a sensible (for me) diet help me limit depressive episodes. It's not a cure, and the things that knock me on my ass, though fewer these days, really suck. But I'm better and capitalizing on opportunities to bring myself out of it, and that's a great thing. 020
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 02/10/2023I hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was just wonderful. Let's start the week off strong! 030
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 29/09/2023Good morning you lovely and wonderful people! It is 2PM but hey, don't worry about it! 020
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 28/07/2023I wake up early to run before the temperatures approach the surface of the sun. Long story short, it was so humid out that I still lost four freaking pounds on the run from sweating. On the plus side, I very much appreciate running in the cold a lot more now! 100
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 26/07/2023Also Hyde presumably could have put in the best closer in baseball to close out the game in the bottom of the 9th with a 1 run lead on the road. NOT a Hyde hater, that was just not a good night by him, especially in hindsight. Mateo was only in there due to Gunnar's injury. Really tough luck. 000
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 26/07/2023My ordered list of who was to blame for last night's bizarre Orioles loss: 1. Jorge Mateo (sorry Jorge) 2. Adam Frazier 3. Brandon Hyde or whomever's responsibility it was for that bizarrely timed mound visit. Cano was ROLLING! 4. Yennier Cano. Not blameless, but bares far less than the others. 110
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 26/07/2023Do little caesars even put pineapple on pizza, or just pepsi? 100
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 26/07/2023It's funny, I told the kids "hey instead of keeping it, let's raffle it off for a fundraiser!" and can you believe they weren't excited for that idea!? 🙃 But yeah man, what a stroke of luck huh? 010
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 26/07/2023Awful. Heartbreaking. Can't believe Bautista didn't get the close it out with a day off on Thursday. Really tough one. If they win the series tomorrow though, it's all good! 010
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 26/07/2023Wild thing. My kids have been fighting over the PS4 to play Rocket League, so my wife randomly posted soemthing about "hey anyone have a spare PS4?" Long story short, we are getting a PS5...for only the cost of shipping. 😯 That is surely not how I expected to eventually get one of those! 100
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 25/07/2023Orioles are 62-38! Bad: Hicks got injured and Mateo had a scare. Good: The Orioles won with big contributions from the bats of baby birds Jordan Westburg & Colton Cowser (and a Mountcastle nuke) without Adley in the lineup and without Cano or Bautista available. Great: DEAN KREMER! 010

NME @thenme.bsky.social · 25/07/2023This is good. Love this! I used to be a pretty fast speedrunner, but now I'm older so I'm only half fast. They read Steiner Math during one of my GDQ runs. That was fun! 000
NME @thenme.bsky.social · 24/07/2023This is absolutely incredible to see! Lots more baseball to be played, but the Orioles have climbed atop not just the best division in baseball but the entire American League! 010
