Officially a third of the way done adding the needed sound effects to the Mario OVA dub (started last Monday, currently at 21/63min)! pic unrelated

Progress on the Mario OVA Improv Fandub is going pretty smoothly! Just finished putting in all the necessary music and ironed out some additional audio/video syncing quirks. Still gotta do the sound effects and future passes of audio balancing, but it's still on track to release in September.

i keep distracting myself because i occasionally glance at the window header out of the corner of my eye and misread "mariova.proj" as "marijuana.proj". i cannot seem to escape this perpetual loop of my own project title fucking my brain up help

The Cards Against Humanity video is still gonna take a few days to take care of a few odds and/or ends (likely gonna come out saturday). In the meantime, here's a peak at one of the questions to get a feel for what most of the video's gonna be like. the game had winners but we all lost that day

023

The Newcomers @thenewcomers.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

current editing timeline for cards against humanity lol Every question and answer has been ported over, plus little entrance "animations". Still gotta add music, some sfx, stuff like timing answers showing up to when they're spoken, etc. Still planning to release it around the middle of the month.

Editing timeline for "Some Of Us Play Cards Against Humanity" as of 7/4/26. Light blue elements are pictures, dark blue is video content, green is for audio objects and purple is for text boxes.

Slowly chipping away at Some Of Us Play Cards Against Humanity. The cutting process has been done for a few days now (video will be around 75-80 minutes). I made a simple background animation, plus a template for the video proper, shown here (the video is supposed to be silent lol)

A New Video Has Been Released! Super Smash REX is one of the best Smash Bros. mods in recent memory. So we decided to release an hour long video of us playing it in a very subpar manner. Be afraid. youtu.be/WOIt656khSE

Planning on getting “Some Of Us Play Super Smash REX” out on the 31st. I only have 5 or so minutes left of the video to edit, then a final run-through for any last second fixes or additions. It’s over an hour long, so I hope you lIke it. You better like it. Don’t make me get the Big Man.
