there's something about cishet men's preference of batman over superman cause superman is a "boy scout" & their love of zach snyder's superman that kinda affirms the whole red pill, incel thing those guys have going on

LEGENDBORN SPOILERS - - - i quite like natasia's chapters in legendborn—it's such an interesting way to show selwyn's side without showing his perspective. especially with natasia's connection to bree and faye. especially because, in these situations, in writing, we normally get sel's perspective

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

As the transgender community continues to fight for civil rights in the U.S., one of the most common arguments against progress is that transgender people are a recent phenomenon. But it’s a fight that’s been happening here for decades and around the world for centuries. ⤵️

“I really don’t care about the ban because I don’t like Tik Tok” is not a flex. Many people lost their source of income and “free speech” is bullshit. Your passivity is exactly how authoritarian regimes flourish.

controversial? maybe. I'm not a big fan of christopher nolan's cast for the odyssey for the same reasons I'm struggling with watching his batman movies—he didn't cast greek people just like how he casted white people for ra's and talia al ghul

to anyone who sees this: what do you define as an oscar bait movie? or maybe a director who, to you, feels like everything they do is oscar bait? I'll go first: bio-pics.

we must stand with women who face abuse, sexual harassment, and assault, even when we don’t particularly like them. we cannot only support what we personally deem the “perfect victim”. you can take them to task for the wrongs they’ve committed, while also holding empathy when wrongs are done to them
