Two images. The top image depicts a giant gorilla fighting a giant dinosaur with explosions and battles all around them with the caption "proposal." The bottom image depicts three people in dinosaur costumes shoveling a sidewalk with the caption "budget."

Two images. In the top image, Kermit the frog sits at a table next to a brown furry muppet. Kermit is saying "and now a word from our lawyer" but lawyer is overlaid with "registrar." In the bottom image, Kermit looks at the other muppet as it holds up a sign that says "don't."

May I never be the type of person who inspires a portrait like this
A portrait of King Charles of England. Most of the painting is in various bloody shades of red except for Charles' face

Day #2 of posting a book from my library. The Brutish Museums by Dan Hicks. Thoughtful, well-researched, an overall great read if you want to hear a strong case for repatriation.
An image of the book "Brutish Museums" by Dan Hicks. The cover is white with an image of a dark brown mask.

Day #1 of posting random books from my museum-related library: Company Museums, by Laurence Vail Coleman. Published by the American Association of Museums in 1943. (I will confess to not having read all of it.)
A red, hardcover book with the words" Company museums" across the top. On another line, it reads "Lawrence Vail Coleman.
