Crichton has something similar in Congo - a surveillance camera films a blurry image of something trashing a camp, and the AI enhancement software comes up with the picture of a giant gorilla, and they say something to the effect of "that's because the software has been trained on gorilla footage"

I was 100% certain Donald Sutherland was the bad guy because otherwise what could there possibly be left in the movie. He even disappears under water, "body never found" so it fit perfectly. But no. It was just what was in the trailer.

The original script was literally a teen sex comedy. And you can still see it in the film (the peeping Tom, going to the cabin with "the guys", "it's not like I've never parked before" etc) In the original script, Marty was a projectionist in a porn theater and used Doc's video camera to bootleg.

Nolan's first VFX heavy film is Batman Begins. Since then, he has uses hundreds of VFX shots for The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar, Dunkirk, Tenet, and even Oppenheimer had 100 VFX shots with digital compositing.

Absolutely. VFX companies would release everything if they could. Top Gun Maverick: NO VFX company has released anything, not a single shot.
