Underwhelming, and missing the mark. By the person who gave us “Ready Plater One” and not “Close Encounters.” Sadly, “The Fablemans” may be Spielberg’s last great ‘real’ movie in his peak art style. DC seems like his lame corporate, throw us a bone style that was in full swing after Jurassic Park.

Huh... to make this movie work they probably needed to cut out the Sandman scene if such a feat was possible. Mostly because the retcon of having him kill Peter's father is just cringe at it's worst. Never really was a big fan of the OG Spidey films though anyways. But DID like their spin on Venom
