I woke up at a hotel at Pearson airport at 5:00am to catch my rescheduled flight home after a couple of intense days of meetings in Saskatchewan. I am exhausted. So, yeah, the season finale of Lasso left me a mess. Even the cat looked concerned and kept climbing up on me to see how I was doing.

I had a seasonal clean-up campfire today. Random bits of wood scrap and bark. Just the remnants of cutting and splitting firewood. It was also a good opportunity to discard some remnants of a 20-year relationship. I didn't feel any bitterness. I kept all the cards face-down. It was just a task.

I need to start thinking about dating. There was a woman in my meeting today I've met 3 or 4 times. Smart, attractive, she makes me smile when I see her. No idea if she's single. Never even looked at her hands. She lives almost 3000km from my home. Not gonna make a fool of myself.
