Do you guys also feel this crippling sense of existential dread at the moment? Things are just very tough, it has to be said. What are some albums that are getting you through? For me it’s currently Floating Points’ Promised

It’s the moment no one asked for! My albums of the year are live. This is part one of II and features 15 records so far and it was a NIGHTMARE choosing them this year. Next ones will be coming soon next week. Let me know what you think! youtu.be/fEQsTUy2PtM

Album of the year video is going to 30 picks. Two parts I think. Keep it simple. It’s been VERY difficult this year, hence why it’s so late but it starts soon.

I’ve got to say that it’s been a fantastic week for Metalcore. New singles from Spiritbox, Architects, Bury Tomorrow AND Killswitch Engage. They have all been great for their own reasons but I think it’s great to see the state of Metal being alive and well!

What’s some of your favourite Winter albums? Steven Wilson - The Raven That Refused to Sing. The tones are welcoming like a roasting fire but there’s moments that shine like when the apricity covers you on a brisk cold day. What about you friends? Let me know!

This turned up this week. Great debut from a really exciting band. Very keen to see them live for the first time now we’ve got a full length out. What do you guys all think of Better Lovers?

There’s nothing more comforting than watching a David Attenborough doc on a Sunday. 😌
