I'm excited to share some posters I created last year for Skaarhoj. Thanks so much for the opportunity! I designed two posters featuring the company values: Development, Freedom, Helpful, Passion, and Respect. #alicecheethamart #springart #clipstudiopaint #animalart #natureartwork #bskyart #art

Development means climbing up to enjoy the view and appreciating the journey you’ve taken. Picture a bright green forest, tall hill meadows, and towering peaks in the distance.

Freedom: A whale leaps out of the sea as the sunset glows behind it, the light sparkling on the water.

Passion: hard-working bees getting the pollen to the roses on a clear day. I made the bees very cute and fluffy.

Helpful: Hiking together can be tough, but you've got someone to hold your back. With a sunrise or sunset, you have a choice.

I wrote this back in October, and it brought me to tears as I was talking to myself differently, almost like therapy. I wanted to share it 💜 (5/5)

You notice companions are still there. Your spark of passion remains. Still there...
The cat has procesed to attack the negative thoughts to protect the character.

I'll give it another go. The cat calms the character down and helps the character relax.

After drawing and being an artist for years, my doubt is still there, but it's become quieter with each year. This has been a hard lesson to learn, but I surprised myself by still making and creating regardless of my past circumstances, from a kid to a teenager to a young adult to a 30-year-old. I still love art, and it's not going away.

I still love art, and it's not going away. Thanks for reading this far. 💜

Alice Cheetham @themeowkitty17.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

I'm quite a sensitive person, and I've always had naturally shaky hands, so it impacts drawing, writing, holding stuff, etc., etc. (2/5)

Your characters will help you on this quest. Maybe companions even.

But doubt sweeps in like icy water, which hurts and stings you.
Sharp lines digging into the character.

Your hands were shaking again, and you made a mistake without realising, or maybe you were sabotaging yourself...
Darkness is within the character and gathering around.

It's ugly... I shouldn't bother... No one will like it... I don't like it...
Too many thoughts.

Alice Cheetham @themeowkitty17.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

Remember to listen to your kinder inner voice. A creative doubt comic by Alice Cheetham Art. I'm curious if you can relate to this? (1/5) #alicecheethamart #comic #artisticjourney #artistdevelopment #art #artistproblems #mentalhealth #bskyart

Have you ever felt the need to make something?

That spark inside, the warmth within of passion. A character holding a floating flame.

You yearn for it like hunger and thirst, just like love. Driving you forward.

So you gather the supplies that you need.
A paint brush, a Wacom pen, yarn, an oil paint palette, a bottle of ink, an eraser (rubber) and a normal pen.
