Black and white studio photo of a plus-size woman seated on draped fabric, arms crossed over her chest in a self-embracing gesture, gaze directed upward into dark negative space. Her face is visible in three-quarter view, expression suggesting quiet longing. Directional light catches her face and arms. Black background. •••

Title: Longing

She holds herself the way you hold something precious: carefully, with both arms, like she already knows the value of what she carries. Her gaze lifts toward something the room can't offer. Whatever she is reaching for, she has not talked herself out of wanting it.

She knows what she wants, even if she doesn't know whether it can be hers.

Title: Still Here, Still Moving

Her legs extend to one side, her back fully visible from hip to shoulders. Dark curly hair falls forward, concealing her face. Deep shadow fills the upper left background. •••

Title: Unguarded
_________________ Story:
She has turned away from everyone that wants something from her, and that brings a new-found freedom. The story is not of what others demand, but of what is being released, quietly, without audience. This is what reflection looks like when it turns inward: not seeking the world's approval, but resting, at last, in her own quiet.

Not every act of turning away is retreat. Sometimes it is the quiet beginning of freedom.

A nude female figure stands with eyes closed in meditative pose within dense Florida vegetation of Spanish moss-draped trees, palm fronds and lush undergrowth, with moss draped over her shoulder and pressed gently against her torso. Rendered in black and white with natural outdoor lighting, the environmental study shows the figure quietly integrated with the wild ecosystem. •••

Title: Her True Nature
_________________ Story:
She stood in the humid green, unhurried, eyes closed to the light filtering through the palms. The Spanish moss, cool and damp, draped from her form as if it wanted her to become one with the trees. She had no interest in being anything other than what she was.

This was her true nature.

Title: Unbowed
_________________ Story:
She turns away, hair falling like a curtain on her back, giving nothing of herself to the room. Yet her spine holds straight and bright, refusing to soften into retreat. Down her back, the quiet ink reveals she's learning to love herself first — not an easy lesson, but one she keeps choosing. Strength like this doesn't need an audience to be real.

Title: The Age of Grace
------------------------- Story:
She arcs, reaches, extends into space proving age to be nothing but an abstract concept. The body remembers what it can do -- bend, stretch, hold its own weight against gravity. She remains undeterred.

I have questions on the label function, I'm having trouble making the customization I'm looking for. « more in alt text »

« screen shot of Artportico's Label Edit Layout customization screen » •••

My questions:

How do I adjust the size (pt) of the fields? ('d like the title bigger to be a little more emphasized.

Will the 'Title' wrap around the QR in this position, how does that work?

How do I make the Custom Text pick up the Notes field (which would have the description/explanation of the image)? I find that the story/explanation helps viewers relate to the image, thus increasing sales.

I was also surprised when qty/edition size listed every instance but didn't indicate '2 of 9' or something. If I have an edition size limit of 50 (ie only 50 11x14s will be produced), that will become untenable and difficult to manage in this manner. Unless of course I don't understand the theory behind this method…

Generally I like this system, it seems to be really well thought out. I'd like to use this to produce labels for (and track images) on exhibit in different shows, but I'd like to customize the label layout a bit more.

If you're too busy or can't (pr don't want to) make these changes, I understand. I'm just a random guy complaining about what you have obviously worked really hard on. No worries, I've got another solution I'm looking at. This seemed like a really simple, really elegant solution.

Thanks for taking time to read this.
Cheers,
Ed

4/ The only reason I haven't updated to the new OM-D E-series is because I don't want to buy new lenses, but I'm really tempted. /end

3/ these days. I pointed a gear-nerd in my local PPA guild to the Olympus Tough 7, he researched to and ended up getting it for his carry-around camera during his trip to Japan, touting the results for both stills and video. …

2/ digitals. I still use them daily professionally in my studio, preferring them to my Bronica medium-format. I use Olympus specifically because the long lenses I used were heavy, and the light body offset their weight. Newer primes for Olympus are now very light, even zooms are lighter…

1/ My unsolicited suggestion would be to research Olympus, which is renown for being the lightest of cameras as well as a workhorse. I've been using them since I retired my Dad's Olympus rangefinder in grade school and got my own SLRs OM-1 thru OM-4T, and continued with E-10/20, E-1 and E-5…

Title: The Shape of Stillness
Story: In the quiet dark, she sits turned away, resting into her own form. Light across the back reveals curves shaped by time and calm. No explanation needed; the body is enough as it is. This is a moment without motion or noise, where stillness takes shape and simply exists.

Model: 💃🏻Veronica (not on bsky)

This image is not explicit, and should obviously *NOT* be automatically labeled as 'Adult Content', @moderation.bsky.app‬ should really adjust their automatic labeling model. This is getting tiresome, and they continue to get it wrong.

What's up with @bsky.app? Anyone else seeing huge gaps in posts on list/feeds? Big gap, seems like missing posts between ~7am, jumping to 13 days ago. Really strange behavior, hope it gets fixed.
