Just found out the author of the self-help/mental health book I’m reading to help prevent me from k***ing myself (which has been helpful) ended up k***ing themselves anyways so I guess what’s the fucking point

Post by lovejoypilled on tumblr reads “oh so when PETER PARKER gets sensory overload he has spidey senses but when I do I HAVE AUTISM

a reply by mahgck reads “you both have autism hope this helps”

Ignoring the fact that this is almost certainly an indication of Pittsburgh’s notorious “false spring” #1, I am THRIVING with the warm sunny afternoon walks today

browt / pombon / gecqua

4 panels, the first is just the waves of the ocean and some big ol’ clouds. the next three are focused on each of the new pokemon starters. Browt a little chicken looking guy is sitting on a log in a forest on the edge of a beach. Pombon a fluffy fire dog is standing proudly on some rocks while waves crash against them and lastly gecqua, a water gecko snoozes on a rock in a swampy pond area.

it’s nice having friends get interested in Overwatch again, less so when the game won’t let us do competitive together because they’re new and I’m not

For sure, I think it’ll be a game that will be nice and refreshing to come back to after a bit of a break with the mechanics staying familiar but a new appetite for an engaging narrative

Was convinced to play through the free portion of Wizard 101, current thoughts: - lots more stuff for F2P than I was expecting - feels very Pokémon-esque in its battles - v slow I got a pet beetle named Baby Bubbles though so huge bonus points for that

The combat rules but the story feels lackluster and the loop kinda drags. It’s also just such a massive time commitment considering how much other games there are to play I’ve been told that Heavensward is pretty damn good though so it could be good to return to

A little over halfway through FF14 ARR and I’m realizing that I may just not be a traditional MMO guy 😕 Lowkey, though, mad respect to those who get really into this genre. Seems like a really great experience for those who can commit the right type of dedication to it

In a weird spot in my life where I’m between “I need to move out of this city because I’ve been nothing but unhappy since moving” and “I need a job, even if that keeps me in the city, because otherwise I may die” I love Pittsburgh but damn it’s been really lonely here
