5. To end this conversation about interviews, I think you can look at it from two perspectives. The person is interviewing and the interviewer. Both people in the room are actually doing both jobs. I find myself judging the people interviewing me as much as they are judging me. #ConArtInSitu

4. Reflecting on this, acting and speaking in the moment is the skill they are looking for. I would say that there is an art to interviewing, and it is all just in the moment, building off of each question and each answer, as well as response. I think it is this kind of game. #ConArtInSitu

3. I really enjoyed the culture fit portion of the interview and the cold call. I got to do the part of my job that I actually want to, and got asked some business-related questions, which I thought were fun. I used to get so nervous during interviews, but I've had enough practice now #ConArtInSitu

2: I will provide some context to the interview. It was for a company called Xero. The job is making cold calls and doing outreach. The job is being a business development representative. My interview consisted of 3 main portions. There was a basic interview, Culture fit, and Cold call #ConArtInSitu

Week 8: 1: I unfortunately could not go to the art museum this past week. What I did do was I had an Interview with a company called Xero. I think my next few sketches will be about that, and I can kind of break down how an interview is somewhat contemporary. #ConArtInSitu

20. I ended my day in the sitting section, and I thought it was nice how they incorporated mindfulness into the contemporary section. I think that mindfulness is the idea behind being contemporary, and just being with yourself in one moment. I definitely will come back here. #ConArtInSitu

18. I liked this one because there’s many different angles in this building and you can’t actually see the sign until you’re in specific spots you know it really means that it’s somewhat contemporary on where you’re standing in the moment because you’ll only get to see it in one spot #ConArtInSitu

18. I ended up sitting and wondering about these numbers were and why they were changing at different times. I read, and I learned that each person had their own logic for why they chose a number for when it changes. I really like this one person in 17 seconds. That's Contemporary. #ConArtInSitu

17. I thought these skateboards looked kind of epic and I’m wondering where the skateboarding culture kind of sits where these are. I know that skateboarding culture is super big and holds a lot of individual value. I’m wondering if individualism kind of have to do with these boards. #ConArtInSitu

16. I wanted to circle back to all of these posts with all of the different designs. I feel like they took so much time and effort just to get one log completed. I’m potentially thinking about doing a series of post just about these posts. They are just so intrequet. #ConArtInSitu

15. I thought these blue paintings were beautiful just in terms of the types of colors that they were using and also what they were kind of depicting. I thought the trees were beautiful as well as the people rowing in boats. It appears like the people in boats might even be fishing. #ConArtInSitu

7. Got lost again ... with @zank-el.bsky.social and @kennedyasnyder.bsky.social. It will probably be ok and I hope that I can see some more art along the way. There ended up being a fire on one of the tracks that got us derailed. #ConArtInSitu

6. Prompt 5. I think comparing pieces is an interesting Idea. Unfortunately, for this past Monday, my phone was about to die, so I could only take pictures of the art instead of appreciating it. I plan to capitalize on this idea this week for my skeets. #ConArtInSitu

5. Prompt 4: I don't really understand NFT's but I don't exactly like or dislike them. I am of the mindset that it is art, but it is kind of hard to appreciate these things that do not exist in the real world but in the digital world #ConArtInSitu

4. Continuation of Prompt 3: But you can only see the original banana in a photo or be there in the moment. I can actually see the art in this piece. It is not just a banana but some common item that we see every day that is always changing just like us #ConArtInSitu

3. Prompt 3: I thought the actual banana duct taped to a wall represented the idea of contemporary very well. The piece is forever changing and the only time you could technically see it in that shape and form is in the now. The banana will grow old and rotten and will be replace #ConArtInSitu

2. Prompt 2: I thought the painting of Antonio Henrique Amaral's bananas tied up in ropes was kind of provocative. It was a I kind of viewed it more as a falick symbol instead of a banana. I couldn't help of thinking of the phrase "Choking one's chicken" only a thought though #ConArtInSitu

Week 7: 1. Prompt 1: I kind of viewed Anddy Warhol's banana prints as just something to be admired. I liked the for lack of better words little bit of ruggedness to the piece. It is just a banana and I wish I had a little bit more context for why the banana unlike other examples #ConArtInSitu

16. Swords just have to be something every one likes. These katanas and the stand just look absolutely incredible and in incredible condition. I noticed the crest on the stand and it looked pretty similar to my family crest. I wonder if I would ever be able to be a samurai #ConArtInSitu

15. Something I have been neglecting to take about is the materials. This is a great example on how one material can have plenty of different uses. All of those items are just made out of bamboo which is insane to think about. #ConArtInSitu

14. I think this embroidery experience in the Korea section just adds absolute volumes to the experience on the 5th floor. You can actually experience the art for yourself in the moment which is pretty amazing. Me and @imquacked5312.bsky.social had a fun and challenging time. #ConArtInSitu

13. I think these forms of Korean landscape art are just absolutely incredible. The whole panel just describes a great story and there is no other type of art like this. I think this form of art is actually contemporary because it captures a scene in a moment. #ConArtInSitu

12. I thought this touchable Ganesha made the exhibit more immersive and added another sense to what I am experiencing. I think it’s cool how you touch it in order to experience its blessing. It’s also cool how if you leave offerings it goes towards funding school programming #ConArtInSitu

11. This selection is shiva Natasha is so cool. As it dances it tramples demons of ignorance and the decline fire purifies everything it touches. I think it’s cool how it was taken around cities to everyone could appreciate it. I am thinking religion has a lot to do with art. #ConArtInSitu

10. At first I just thought that this sculpture just looked pretty until I actually read the description of it. I think Nichiren’s form of Buddhism is very different from most. It is interesting how he took such an extreme approach to someone like this. #ConArtInSitu

9. After reading this description I think the story of the Maiteys is pretty cool. I t is interesting the Buddhism also has a Jesus sort of figure who who’ll bring Buddhism back when it is forgotten. I think that may be awhile due to its popularity but it’s a really cool concept. #ConArtInSitu

8. This is another Amida Buddha. I think it’s pretty cool that this Buddha made 48 vows before becoming enlightened. I think I need to research this more and maybe find another description to give me more context. I just think the circular art is so beautiful and holy. #ConArtInSitu

7. I also think it is so interesting that the Buddha takes different forms in different cultures the earlier posts were from south East Asia and these are from Japan. U am definitely more accustomed to Anisa Buddha over other forms. I think the art is incredible. #ConArtInSitu

6. Again I am noticing in asia the combinations of culture. These are all Christian figures found in the 1700’s made out of ivory in the Philippines. I think it’s so interesting that cultures blend so far away from each other or are I’m placed by one another #ConArtInSitu

4. I thought this one was pretty cool. It is a Buddhist shrine. It is said that the thrown is supposed to be go both ways between the Buddha and kingship. The Buddha is the king and kings are supposed to be semi Devine. #ConArtInSitu

3. I thought these depictions of demons were pretty interesting. Maybe I am thinking of a devil but I typically think of demons as more human like and less beast like. I guess what I mean is a human face and a beast body but this is the opposite. #ConArtInSitu

2. Found this figure of the volumes as a passenger and a shiva as the driver. I think it’s pretty cool and kind of representative of what the piece actually is. The shiva is a Hindu god and the Buddha is a god in Buddhism. It’s cool to see their cultures combine and I wonder how. #ConArtInSitu

Week 6: 1. I thought it was funny when Chaz did this pose but the art and the color I think is even cooler. The description said it is using a Chinese school outfit and also one of the famous Greek statues. I think it is a cool combinations of cultures. #ConArtInSitu

20. Prompt 5. Some emotions I feel and or felt when looking outside was freedom. The sky is always changing and is never the same nor does it ever look the same again. It's kind of beautifully forever changing and growing. That's freedom. The opportunity to grow and change how you want #ConArtInSitu

19. Prompt 4: I have felt all of the emotions. It depends on when I look at the art, but it is kind of a lot of nostalgia and connecting things to my past. When I look at the art in that moment, what I'm now sort of thinking about is the past or any connections to the art. #ConArtInSitu

18. Prompt 3: I think it might be because I can make interpretations within the Contemporary art and maybe less so with the Cultural art. I think I maybe should start to try and make my own story for it first and then read about it. I guess I just had a mental block for that one. #ConArtInSitu

Alex Eberl @themaskedman28.bsky.social · 29/04/2026
17. Prompt 2: I think the story is apart of the art but I have a hard time finding my own journey within the art. For example I cant really make assumptions about the work itself but I can know where it is from and what it is for. #ConArtInSitu
