i firmly believe that creature combo/prowess should be the fastest decks in a format because you can create a interesting metagame around that fact where as you can’t around stack based combo because so many fewer colors have access to answers.

i think blink likes being on the draw more than most modern decks and especially more than most reactive decks. i also do think modern has a few too many games right now that are play/draw dependent and i think slowing down the format a bit would help a lot with that problem

WW (p) ub frog finally won a match, my first since round 7. played tight and drew well. i think this is my best played tourney of my life despite the poor result. my technical play and decision making was excellent and my mental was also extremely good.

WLL (d) op seized my witch which was my second land in g1. i missed land drop for 2 turns but my hand was gas. g2. sorta soloed by t4 cast kaito. made a small mistake g2 that might have let me kill the kaito. g3. drew lands 6-9 while my opponent was stuck on 4 lands.

LWL (d) mono black necro i think i put myself in a really good position to win both g1 and g3. opponent was hellbent in both but drew better from that point. still very happy with my play

day 2 LL (p) rg broodscale took a sorta risky line g1 and lost. could of played safe but i think it would have extended a game i probably would have lost g2 i kept a good hand with swamp/godless shrine and drew 2 enchanters and a plains

Day 2!! LWW (p) mono g scale dealt 17 to myself g1 and died to a witch blessed meadow when my opponent emmy’d me (i was kinda dead anyway) didn’t cast a consign in the postboard games but managed thoughtseize/clonq to victory.
