The DOW is down over 2,000 in the last month. I always found it to be a better economic indicator then the 500 largest, best able to weather a storm, S&P500.

George Washington was NOT, contrary to his belief, super religious. Her rarely spoke about God or Jesus. He very often used the term "providence" to describe what many religious people would call the will of God. This is available to read in his letters and various (reputable) biographies.

Trump recently announced a $500 refund for the ACA (Obama Care). But: • you only qualify if you pay full price. • poor people who got subsidies aren't getting it. • rich people who paid full price qualify • it is per person, not household. Meaning those who need it most are screwed. Rich get $$$.

I am a little worried. The weekly pattern has broken. Stocks ended slightly up on a Thursday. I am a little scared for tomorrow. It could be good. But we already have a couple of really bad news Fridays - black Fridays if you will. I hope this is not another one.

To me, as an Independent, it is never about party, its about the candidate. However, the Republicans over the last decade have ceded everything to the worst person ever, thereby making themselves the worst candidates. They enable Trump, they don't get my vote. To me, it still isn't about party.
