I love, and post about, music (although all ANYONE seems to care about on #BlueSky is politics). Anywhoo, turns out, though that if you post about #EltonJohn, & #DonnaSummer consecutively, Only Fans sends you beefcake hunters😆. No interest fellas 😐 P.S. I turn down the ladies, too. #IHateOnlyFans

I just scored a new top listener badge. Check them out on YouTube Music music.youtube.com/channel/UC_x... Guilty as charged 😉. Snake's new album' #Nomad ' is stellar. It's genre spanning to the point of mirroring a kind of musical. Some of it isn't for dancing even. It's an experience. #MusicSky

So, all of my R&B loving Gen-X contemporaries (especially Black females, and obviously males, too) are going crazy trying to get tickets to this' #TheNewEditionWayTour '(see listing) This got me to thinking about my Top Five N.E. songs (see list below-along with the winning track 🏆) (1 of 2)

This sh*t 😐. Trump's a lame, building obsessed, piece of trash 😐. And the fact that he's also POTUS is still surreal, and immeasurably depressing for me. His priorities are invariably self-serving, and spectacularly dangerous for the country, and ALL of the citizenry. WAKE UP!!!! #FuckTrump

This track is almost prototypically why 90s R&B is still beloved: (a) Hip-Hop officially married R&B 👰🏾 (b) Vocalists understood their mission- bad singing was rarely tolerated 😁 (c) Producers also understood their mission- see "a" 🤔 " #HeyMr.D.J. "by #Zhane (1994) #MusicSky #90sMusic #Music

Just watched this again on Disney + . It's no "flop" as it relates to quality- quantity/box office receipts marred its perceived success instead. I also think people were remembering how horrible the earlier attempts were .... ' #TheFantasticFour:FirstSteps ' (2025) #Movies #Disney+ #Superheroes

So, lately I've been noticing that different types of artistic elements in music merge magnificently: story and song. My favorite song by the singer, Brandy starts its lyrical introduction "bouncing the door," and soon we discover that this is "one of those nights": " #FullMoon " by #Brandy (2002)

Okay. So I broke my 1970s streak from earlier in the day,but this artist was surely influenced by 70s Soul. With lyrics like 👇🏾this👇🏾-and the ability to merge modern sounds with traditional R&B- she's the perfect antidote to music's current "Pop poisoning": " #realyearnersunite " by #YayaBey (2025)
