Old Cranky wants you to know all you young whippersnappers are too soft these days

Got my basic markers for Malifaux sorted. Made these by printing off some PDF tokens and Mod-Podge-ing them to 30mm clear acrylic bases.

Me, a Helsmiths player looking at the new Khazalite Holds leaks:

I have pretty much everything I need to run Rasputina's crew in Malifaux, *except* Rasputina. But it turns out I already have a pretty good Rasputina proxy I painted years ago

Merris LaCroix is ready to blast off for battle! This is one of the Malifaux Bayou rescues I got out of the box donated to the store

Finished results of the first rescued Bayou Gremlin! Using an old paint job as your base really speeds up the process. She's so much more visible now.

Forgot to take a proper before pic, but I'm starting on fixing up the painted Bayou gremlins. She used to be standing up on a different base that was the wrong size, but you couldn't see her face under the hat. The tree base was loose with no mini on it so I swapped her over and placed her sitting.

I have been cursed with the gift of Malifaux. A box of minis got donated and now I have Neverborn and Outcast crews, as well as a start on Bayou gremlins. They need some repairs and new paint but they were free. I am definitely expanding Bayou because I now love the little green rednecks!

Had a desire to paint something a little disturbing. Thus the Screaming Antelope from Kingdom Death Monster ended up on my paint table.

The Machine Gun Ghoul @themachinegunghoul.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

I haven't painted a mini just for painting's sake in a little while but I fell in love with this one's aura. I have named her Wrexya Mane, Expert Duelist. She has no game purpose but I look forward to trying to find one.

Pelegarth Howl for my Wrath of Kings Nasier warband for Age Of Fantasy Skirmish. Being used as a Chosen Havoc Warrior. Not super happy with how this came out but it's done.

Barely squeaked out a win in my first game of Army Of Darkness. Evil Ash appeared and Ash rushed out onto the battlefield to meet him, taking out half his health. Arthur was getting overrun by flying Deadites only to have Ash boomstick Evil Ash into oblivion just before the book could get stolen!

My boss tricked me into owning Konflikt '47 stuff by giving me a free Vogelspinne walker. He knows I am weak-willed and it's only a matter of time before I have to actually buy more K47 stuff.
