How many times can you pay Pamela Paul and her ilk for "just asking questions" about whether trans kids deserve to exist? And then you're shocked--shocked!--to find transphobia running rampant through the country. Trump's obsession with trans people would not exist if the media had not decided to take the complaints of one mediocre swimmer and a smug British author and blow it up into a culture war. If you don't examine your own culpability in this, it's going to happen again and again.

Security camera caught the moment that the transformer across the street blew last night. Unfortunately, it didn't capture the sound, which was something like, "SSSSSSVVVVVRRTZZZZ."

A library book with the label Fiction Sparks. Between the dark blue cover and the mylar jacket is a significant amount of sand, piling up beneath the bottom fold.

A copy of Remain by Nicholas Sparks and M. Night Shyamalan. It's sitting on a white piece of paper, and an inch-long/half-inch-wide pile of sand has been collected on the paper. (There's still more sand inside, I have to send it for re-jacketing lol)
