Y'all. Y'ALL. I think it's done. I think I'm finally satisfied with the final chapter and epilogue of my story! All that's left is for me to do the coding for the work skin, and I should be set to post them to AO3 on Friday. This is surreal.

TheLennina 📓 @thelennina.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I think I finally figured out what was bugging me about the epilogue. I made some edits, and we'll see how it reads after simmering for a day.

TheLennina 📓 @thelennina.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

This epilogue is really fighting me. I want nothing more than to spend the weekend editing & polishing it, but I have to work tomorrow, which means I'll only have Sunday this week. It's looking more and more like the 15th/16th for the final posting. As long as I can get it somewhat decent. *sigh*

TheLennina 📓 @thelennina.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I squeezed out another 3 1/2 hours of edits on the epilogue. It's really coming together! I'm tingling!

020

TheLennina 📓 @thelennina.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Y'all. I did it. The epilogue needs heavy dialog edits, but it's done! I'll spend the next 2-ish weeks polishing both it and the previous chapter, and I hope to post them by mid-October. Gah! It's really almost DONE done!!

010

TheLennina 📓 @thelennina.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I'm starting on the epilogue while the rest simmers for a bit. Wish me luck!

I just finished 3 hours worth of edits on the final chapter of my story, and wow. I think maybe, possibly, I'm going to land this plane fairly close to how I envisioned it. That is, as long as I don't fumble the epilogue. 🫪

I finally finished writing the last chapter of my story! It's an absolute hot mess, and it needs a ton of editing, but extruding it from my brain is done. The epilogue should be a much smoother process as I've been chewing on it since before I even started physically writing this.

010

TheLennina 📓 @thelennina.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Is it weird that I'm struggling to finish writing my story? I've had the final chapter and the epilogue planned out since the beginning, but sitting down to write them has been oddly difficult. Is this typical, or is this just classic executive dysfunction?

Fellow April babies: I think we can all agree that our birthstone sucks. Diamonds are overpriced, and, frankly, they're meh, so I propose we band together and change it. May I suggest blue apatite for your consideration? It's a stunning, unpretentious stone that, at least for me, sparks joy.

3 weeks in, and life with a diabetic child is feeling much less scary. He's done all of his own injections since Thursday afternoon, and he's been pretty dang diligent with watching his blood sugar. I'm so insanely proud of this kid!

I just started writing the final chapter of my story. I've been working on this project for 2 years now, and I can't believe it's finally coming to a close. I'll be releasing the final chapter and the epilogue together, which will be very late September to early October. This is so surreal.

What a crazy whirlwind of a week. Long story short, my youngest was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and spent all of last weekend in the hospital. This adjustment has been insane for me, but he's somehow taking it all in stride. He's such an incredible kid, and I'm truly blessed to be his mom.
