Editing today - I hate editing. I totally get it’s 80% of the writing process. I just do not enjoy this part at all.

✨ What are your favorite decks? Take a moment to think about it. Why do you keep these decks ? What aspects of their design, energy, or messages make you return to them? Is it the captivating artwork? The decks you love hold the clues to the kind of deck you’re meant to create.

Spent the morning doing a proof read of the beautiful Celestial Unicorn Tarot Guidebook. Very excited to almost have this project completed.

Oh hai, I’m starting off 2025 with a solo exhibition of my work - nearly 50 paintings. If you’re in or near Rhode Island, stop on by!

Another writing day in the books - 56 cards down, 22 to go. This smaller word count for the guidebooks is quite the challenge.

Just got back from Pilates and it is going to take me all night to cool off. Apparently other people were cold so they put the heat on. Desert dwellers Pfft

I’m lucky enough to have TWO agented projects out today. Tawny Lara and Lisa Smith’s The Sobriety Deck is out about, and goodness I think it’s gonna help a lot of people. ❤️ www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/750832...

Had a fabulous morning writing season with the @manuscriptacademy.bsky.social this morning. Even though I had to leave early for a client call I still got words into the novel. Hoping we do it again next week as well!!!

Writing date Thursday - I would rather be in bed if I’m being honest. But deadlines are a real thing in publishing so here we go.

Putting together the guidebook for my next deck. Why is it everytime I sit down to write one of these, it feels like all my understanding of tarot slides right out of my ear? 🤨
