This is a separate thread where I'll give monthly update on chinese launch schedule, a continuation of what I've been doing on twitter since last year: x.com/TAbusnardo/s... I do this to give an idea of near term launches beyond what's usually published in apps like Next Spaceflight.

According to Yang Liwei, the Wangyu Lunar EVA suit will complete its electrical , structural , thermal control environment test in 2026 and will enter the Flight model R&D Phase following this, a phase which typically precedes operational readiness by less than 2 years.

The Path has taken witchers to many distant places — but this one is truly worthy of the Lady of Space and Time herself! Thanks to @esa.int's kindness and the courage of Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, The Witcher medallions embarked on a voyage to the ISS, accompanying Sławosz on the Ignis mission.👨‍🚀🛰️

Two medallions from The Witcher, the Wolf and the Lynx, float in outer space aboard the International Space Station. Their chains wrap together in the zero gravity, and in the background is the Polish flag.

CD Projekt Red Co-CEO Michał Nowakowski and CFO Piotr Nielubowicz stand on stage with Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, all three of them smiling. Nowakoski and Uznański-Wiśniewski hold microphones while Nielubowicz holds a frame containing the Wolf and Lynx medallions from The Witcher. It’s decorated with images of the two medallions floating aboard the International Space Station and logos and other imagery of the European Space Agency. A large screen featuring an image of the medallions floating in outer space stands behind them.

Development status of upcoming Chinese Launch Vehicles by the end of Q3 2025 The Trimester saw 5-6 static fires of new stages. As it stands maybe 4 RLV and 1 ELV have a chance of launching in Q4 (2 of which will attempt a landing), with a few more possible in H1 2026.

Apparently, the Shenzhou-19 EVA 1 had a record total time under spacesuit internal power of 9h42min. China counts EVA like Russia: from hatch opening to closing, internal power time was used by NASA in 80s. Footage of Kinetica-2 stages (+nosecone) under assembly. Image

Overview of current progress of the upcoming chinese RLV. This doesn't include some of the recent, lesser, aspiring LSP (Astronstone, Tianzhang Rockets...) or former promising LSP that have fallen on hard time such as RocketPi or Linkspace, or future expendable launchers (Jielong-4/Ceres-2)

10 years ago. The end of 30 years of attempts at an independent european LEO crewed program. 10 years later, and still no equal capability, in Europe or anywhere else.

We’ll probably learn about the Chinese space sector launch targets for 2025 (2024: 70 CASC 30 Others) after the Chinese New Year, but based on recent declarations I expect it to be above 100, maybe even as high as 120, with >40 for the "private LSP"

Back when I first posted there, I would have never thought that my ownership of spacexmasterrace would become so topical lol.
