Spent yesterday in the ER with my son (he’s okay, passed a kidney stone had awful pain), and as we left we saw the baby. Of course, we had to pull over to make sure it was okay. And then we saw its lil friend. No babies were kidnapped, though discussions were had. #CatsOfBluesky

On Monday, I had a call with DCF in FL. My son’s Medicaid was canceled. I emailed @angieforfl.bsky.social for help. Is she my representative? No. Mine is MAGA. The next day, someone at DCF called and fixed it at Rep. Nixon’s request. She and her staff work so hard for us. We NEED her in DC.

I’m so excited about this. For many in Florida, there’s a deep personal loyalty to her as she was a vital resource during Covid and in all the years after. She’s truly represented all of us. Vindman is probably already packed to move back to Virginia. He never wanted to be here.

Some of you read the beginning of my next novel, The Mossad Agent's Petsitter (f/k/a The Russian Mobster's Dog Nanny), which included allusions to domestic violence, assurances that EVERYTHING IS FINE, a missing girlfriend, a missing Alfa Romeo SUV, shovels, dirt and a boatload of cash. Looks like the next chapter involves an emergency so he can
"put someone in the hospital" on the Fourth of July weekend and being met by a guy wearing a parka and shorts in Palm Beach in July to pick up Tao and still more cash. (The accent, which initially struck me as Slavic, is Israeli. We're now communicating only in Hebrew.)

Released from hospital w/instructions to get primary doc to refer to cardiologist. Primary office is trying to find one not booking 3 months out. I’m on BP meds. Supposed to reduce stress abcs lose weight. My thyroid is off, so Levo was adjusted. Sigh. All of this is hard.

It took 8 hours to be seen at the ER after triage (45 minutes). They are keeping me to stabilize blood pressure and lower heart rate and find cause. Vision is wonky, and I’m shaky. Saw lady from billing office who does charity care and psych NP. They want me calm. Nurses are nice. Kiddo is scared. ❤️

I’m really not feeling well. I’m scared that there’s something really wrong, my chest feels tight and like there’s weight on it, breathing feels off and I feel like I have be fog. I’m weighing a trip to the ER even though I cannot afford it and don’t want to leave my son.
