I kept the bitching about GlobalComix to a minimum in my newsletter (partially at my mom's suggestion because she thought it would be boring lol) but I think people need to know how bad it is. The highlighted part is where I genuinely felt ill. COMIC PANELS ARE NOT BILLBOARDS, YOU WANKERS

Welp guess i'm being forced back onto DDG for mobile browsing because I haven't been able to get the Waterfox app to load pretty much anything all day. I thought the search engine was down but it isn't that. None of the options work. The app is just refusing to load anything. My internet is fine.

Error screen on the Android version of Waterfox which claims the web address is wrong or the wi-fi isn't working (neither of which is the case)

1) I like my art being the face of my online presence. 2) privacy/so my real face is not fed into AI models. 3) i'm a theater kid, if I'm on stage, I'm playing a character. It's funny how actors pretend to be fictional characters and nobody freaks out but streamers do it and it's "dishonest" lmao

This is Jacob (Desmoxytes). He is Sicarius's father. He is stern but amicable, an odd personality for a warden of Solifuge. But don't let his welcoming demeanor fool you; he earned his position well--he can tear a person to shreds without even touching them if given a good reason. #theknowticedfiles

Sorry, I can't type in French but I can respond in English: yes, Amanita phalliodes is the "death cap" and one of the most toxic mushrooms, but it is only one species in the genus. Amanita contains many species. However, it is safest to assume a mushroom you find is not edible.

From Wikipedia: "the genus Amanita contains about 600 described species of agarics, including some of the most toxic mushrooms found worldwide, as well as some well-regarded edible species"

Just saw someone say they use AI to write their work emails because "AI makes sure I don't call an annoying client a dumb fuck" S-Sir, do you have such a severe lack of impulse control that you can't choose to simply not brazely insult people in an email? I just cannot imagine an excuse for this.

I want to clarify that by "wireframe" i mean a wire skeleton like this. Marking the locations of the joints on the ref, sometimes drawing the "bones", noting proportions, then turning off the overlay. I don't consider it tracing. 80% of it is freehand.

I once drew Nimbus as a shark merman, before I came up with the akula. Now I think he'd be a moray eel since akula characters have dibs on shark. These drawings are super old.

Phoebe really looks the part of a siren (she sings too). Sicarius would be a coelacanth and also a sea-warlock. Will would be an awkward merman because his concept always involves acquiring monster status and being awkward for a while. I have drawn him like this actually.

Will from The Knowticed Files (a white haired youth wearing an eyepatch on his right eye, depicted here with red eyes and grey skin) as a mershark swimming alongside a normal shark among a kelp forest. 2018. Alcohol marker on cardstock.
