I needed to attack with Lillie's Clefairy that turn to take the KO on Raging Bolt, so I fell behind in the prize race and ended up losing regardless

That was totally different from how it was handled when I made that same sequencing error in Atlanta. I had to put my Clefairy back to hand and pick a different target for the Energy, then I got a warning. I was genuinely surprised to hear you got a DPL

What really lost me that game was retreating my damaged Pult into my only Blaziken and going for a 2-shot, which instantly got punished by Reshiram. Whiffed Night Stretcher on the penultimate turn and had no way to win at that point

R1: I held Poké Pad instead of grabbing Drakloak, but got punished by an unexpected Itchy Pollen, then my opponent put Battle Cage into play. Without a properly set up board and no way to soften benched Garchomp, I was cooked R3: Started Meowth, prized Budew, but I did set up okay regardless

After the calamity that was Baltimore, I made a pledge that I would never borrow cards to play a deck again, which ruled out Gholdengo. I didn’t have a Gardevoir list I was confident in and was far too scared of Clefairy to play Dragapult. I honestly wasted a really good Day 2 opportunity
