I’ve wrapped production on a new track called “The Sun Got In The Way”. I’m mixing the music before laying down the vocals – not quite sure yet if it’ll be a single or part of an EP. I’m hoping to start recording the vocals this week. #independentmusic #indiemusic #independentmusician #synthpop

Have to give a shoutout to @neuroshocked.bsky.social without doubt one of my favourite indie artists. He was kind enough to give me a special mention in a recent post (thank you). Stream, share, listen, the usual, you know the drill. neuroshock.bandcamp.com/music music.apple.com/de/artist/ne...

Have always been a huge fan of #DavidSylvian and #Japan and this one of my favourites, only bettered by “Tin Drum”. You can hear the transition from Glam to Synth Pop on this record. #AlbumOfTheDay #NewWave #PostPunk

Listening today to the brilliant debut album from #killingjoke. A classic #postpunk epic and possibly one of my favourite debut albums ever. Sounds as apocalyptic as ever and fits that Monday mood perfectly. #albumoftheday #industrialrock

What in fresh hell’s, God’s name is this? The Kind Machine buys new (cheap) gear, and it’s NOT a synth! Well, all will be revealed some time relatively soon(ish). I feel a new project coming on 😁.

#albumoftheday is back! Bit of an odd one, not featuring a single band, but a compilation. I brought this LP when I was a teenager and it represented the first #punk #newwave music I ever heard. From that moment was hooked, the record contains tracks from so many brilliant bands from that era!

This band was an absolute favourite during the #punk & #postpunk period. The first album was a corker and this follow up hit the spot as far as I was concerned. It’s a shame “5 Minutes didn’t make this album. When I’m feeling slightly angry, this is a go to album. #newwave #pubrock #artrock

I have often said that the best #ultravox line up included John Foxx. Not to say the inclusion of Midge Ure did not have its moments. This album contains a few gems. “The Voice” & “The Thin Wall” are top tracks, with the brilliant Billy Currie on board. #newwave #synthpop #newromamtic #80music

One of my favourite bands from the early 80s. This is probably their most successful and best album. They had a great fusion of soul & pop and were often a bit avant garde, which result in some great tunes and 3 UK top 20 hits. #pop #synthpop #80smusic #artpop #sophistipop

Listening to the debut album today from #spandauballet. Great album before all the hits that came later. A very “synthy” album, which naturally I like. One of the best albums from the beginnings of the #newromantic era. #synthpop #80smusic
