So...it would appear that we do not learn from history. Netflix is doing a 6-part unscripted miniseries on the failed 1971 Dr. Zimbardo research study. That study, planned for 2 weeks, only lasted 6 days, and it showed that we do not have the capability to act humanity.

Conversion therapy is dangerous on many levels. They are told that if they pray, they can become "normal". When it doesn't happen, it destroys them and makes them seek release in secret, and often puts them in situations like this where they normally wouldn't. Ban Conversion therapy.

Before I left the church, I had the opportunity to interact with Melissa Green, former member of the christian group, Avalon. The song, Testify To Love, will always hold a special place in my heart. But, Melissa is the only member to not shun Michael, and to have fully embraced him.
