It was great to hear @thejustindouglas.bsky.social speak today at the candidate forum. I must admit, I was going in ready to vote for Janelle. But, after hearing him speak, saying Obama and Bernie are his mentors, I am thinking on flipping my vote to him. Refreshing. Honest. True. Authentic.

On 8.28.17, I marched in D.C. at the Ministers March for Justice organized by National Action Network (led by Al Sharpton) The most meaningful moment was meeting a minister who marched with Dr. King in 1963. A real honor and reminder that each generation must carry the work of justice forward.
