Does this look like the face of a dog who found a puddle of literally liquid 💩 and dived into it before mum could haul me away? The smell was unbelievable. I got it on my collar and harness and all over my neck and shoulders, and it was so runny that when I stood up it ran right down my legs 🤣🤣

“If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.” Dolly Parton Life is preciously short… have a go, take the step, feel a little brave. What are we waiting for? 🧡 #DollyParton #Courage #Belief Artwork by joyfulsmolthings

A bright, playful illustration set against a blue sky dotted with small white specks and surrounded by large, soft white clouds. In the centre, a pair of legs wearing striking pink cowboy boots appear to be stepping through the sky. The boots are decorated with large golden-yellow sunflowers, brown heels and soles, and darker brown decorative panels around the top. A simple black outline of a bird flies in the distance. Across the bottom, handwritten black lettering sits over roughly painted white brushstrokes and reads: “You’ll never do a whole lot unless you’re brave enough to try” Dolly Parton. The overall image feels joyful, optimistic and full of movement. Artwork by @joyfulsmolthings.

Once again, I am stuck in the living room ON MY LEAD while Emanuel and the other workmen are fitting the new kitchen 😠 As if I've got no manners and I'd keep pestering them for attention or something! (In protest, I am ignoring my new bed and sleeping on the floor 😂)

Mum's making the bed. I'm helping 😁 She says it's too hot for these shenanigans, and I think she might be right. I spend all day grinning like a doofus because I'm too warm 😂

Mum and dad ONLY JUST GOT HOME and it's nearly 2 in the morning! It was a concert for a band I've never heard of, and as usual they never take me anywhere exciting, but at least THEY had a good time 😠 (Mum assures me it was too loud and I would have hated it, but we'll never know, will we?)

We have a new floor, in the back hallway and the kitchen, which is going to be a utility room when half the living room has finished being turned into a new kitchen 🙄 I think it's all a bit silly, but at least it's not shiny slippery laminate which I hate! And I got to say hello to the workmen 😁

It's TOO HOT so I can't have a walk and I'm SO BORED. But on the plus side, the neighbours put an inflatable pool next to our fence, and when they emptied it it flooded our garden! I had a paddling pool for an hour 🤣 - if you look closely my paws are still damp 😁

UK bee and other pollinator populations are dropping rapidly, partly due to pesticide use. France has banned pesticides from towns & cities. Sometimes for a treat mum puts the electric fire on, because I love it! We started using it when our heating broke down, and every day since I lie hopefully in front of it, but it's been mild so we haven't used it. Today it was chilly, so mum put it on for me 😁
