On the one hand, it's just a pop tour. On the other hand, this feels seismic. Are we at a cultural inflection point? Ed Sheeran tried to appease the billionaire racket, and every single musician who shared his stage said take your tour and shove it. EVEN HIS OWN BACKING BAND. 🤯

"Take a look at your future. Take a look at your burning sky." These lyrics have been seared in my brain for almost 30 years. And I think about them a lot as the world continues to get exceedingly grim. Man, this song is still so good. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgAR...

How's your attention span today? Actually, this is great for background tunes, too. Heavy psych/prog but not excessively technical. More Floyd than Rush. What older stuff I've heard so far leans into grittier stoner rock territory. Meet Mr. Bison. 👇

THIS RIPS. C.O.F.F.I.N are thrashy, clever punk from Australia. Amyl & The Sniffers is an easy comparison, but I feel like there's some Motorhead, too. And they stretch out and slow down into rootsy, bluesy territory on occasion. #newmusic #punk

There might be some good songs on the new Strokes album. I’m not sure I could tell, though, because the auto-tune vocals are SO F@&$ING IRRITATING.
